It’s a brand new blog!Okay … this blog probably looks exactly identical to you, but in fact, this is the first blog post of a brand new day. I have decided to start a brand new blog since the other blog had over 1000 blog posts and went all the way back to November 2004.

The real reason I’m starting brand new?

Because there have been a tremendous amount of changes lately, and I’ve been trying to “pour new wine in old bottles.” It just doesn’t work that way. The reason I have been stalled lately in writing (in case you haven’t noticed) is because I’m totally different and yet I’m still trying to fit into the old place. It just wasn’t working.

I need to be totally brand new, because *I AM* totally brand new.

I’m constantly saying “push the delete button” and “wipe the slate clean” … yet … do I actually do it?

Am I in the practice of letting old my past ideas go?

I mean, let’s be honest, I reference everything. I know exactly who my friends are, and what my standing in life is. And how is the only way this would be possible????? To bring in a past reference.

Yet everything is changing so fast.

I am going to let it change.

YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE STUCK.

I was stuck. It was like I got picked up by a fast moving current, or catapulted into a different place & time, and I kept trying to be the way I’ve always been. And it’s impossible to be the way you used to be when suddenly everything is brand new.

I’m going to let today be a NEW BEGINNING for me. I don’t know who my friends are. I will let it be shown to me today, who calls and who writes. I don’t know what my favorite websites are. I don’t know what my schedule looks like. I don’t know what I like to eat. I don’t know what I need to do today. I don’t know anything, except that I have a great willingness to do God’s Will.
