Okay. This is amazing. Two incredible things this morning.I decided to “wipe the slate clean” and “push the delete button” on my past (read post below) and start a new blog today, and just now I go and read two amazing things that are truly delighting me.
First: today’s lesson from A Course in Miracles is exactly how I am feeling today:
THE HOLY CHRIST IS BORN IN ME TODAY.
It’s just like I said: today is the new beginning when I let everything be brand new. Today angels surround me. Watching with me. Amazing. That’s why I wanted to start something new: THE HOLY CHRIST IS BORN IN ME TODAY.
So that’s the first thing.
The second thing is Emmet Fox and I keep kissing this book – that’s how much I love this article. He is so great.
He wrote an essay/sermon called “Your Heart’s Desire” and I wish I could type the whole thing in here, because it is unbelievable. Let me do a Google search and see if I can find it.

Your Heart’s Desire

“But how is one to find his true place in life? Is there really any means whereby you may discover what it really is that God wishes you to do? You may feel inclined to say: “Even if it be true that God has some splendid thing He wishes me to do, and to be, how can I possibly find out what it is?” Perhaps you may even be tempted to add: “I am a very plain, everyday sort of person; my circumstances are extremely restricted; the conditions of my life are just drab commonplace. How then can there be something wonderful, beautiful, splendid awaiting me? Or, even if there were, how could I possibly get to know about it?”
“And the answer is Divinely simple – Already in your past life from time to time, God Himself has whispered into your heart just that very wonderful thing, whatever it is, that He is wishing you to be, and to do, and to have. And that wonderful thing is nothing less than what is called YOUR HEART’S DESIRE. Nothing less than that.
“The most secret, sacred wish that lies deep down at the bottom of your heart, the wonderful thing that you hardly dare to look at, or to think about – the thing that you would rather die than have anyone else know of, because it seems to be so far beyond anything that you are, or have at the present time, that you fear you would be cruelly ridiculed if the mere thought of it were known – that is the very thing that God is wishing you to do or to be for him.
“And the birth of that marvelous wish in your soul – the dawning of that secret dream – was the Voice of God Himself telling you to arise and come up higher because He has need of you.”

I know what my Heart’s Desire is, and what is interesting to me, is that I don’t dare mention it to anyone because I “fear that i would be cruelly ridiculed if the mere thought of it were known.”
how amazing.
I want you to think about this question today: What is your Heart’s Desire?
This is God’s Will for you.
The very thing you desire is exactly the thing you are meant to be doing.

just did aearch to see if I could find a “your hearts desire” printed seperately so I could send it to friends, and found your comment. I was reading ‘your hearts desire’ in the book “power through cnstructive thinking”. I have been intensely studying many of fox’s book for a few years now. For me, he has been the most significant teacher in opening up the meanings of God’s word. I have become a new person. I too thank God for what he has done through Emmet Fox.
