Thank you. When I find a quiet environment I can hear the cacophony of my own thoughts, and then I can slip past them, too. I drop down below them like a stone falling to the bottom of a lake, where all is still, silent. It lets me be. It feels like home. yes.
I love you.............................

"Last summer I worked in a resort with 20-year olds and there would be a group of us standing around - like 10 people - waiting for the event to begin, and rather than talking to each other, everyone was in their own little bubble text-messaging other people. It was the most bizarre thing I’d ever seen."

HAHAHAHAHA. That is so TRUE.

I love silence. I lay in bed at night and just let it envelop me like a blanket. Except for last night because it is almost impossible to do wearing body armor! I read this post after I wrote mine and remembered the silence. I went to the gym which is full of music, people and confusion but all I heard is silence and all I saw was stillness. The peace of Monday is back. Thanks.
