Hi Lisa, Today has been quite a day.. and I wanted to share with you. I had written that today is 7 years since my last drink and God had something he wanted me to do. I still have my mom in the same box that she was returned to me from her cremation.. she has been thru everything with me. I felt like I owed her living amends for all the years I made her life hell. I finally brought her out of storage and she was on my dishwasher for about a week and been riding around in the backseat with me for a few days.. when I put her in the backseat.. I sat there and said ' God I don't know what to do with her." It came to me yesterday that today would be my 7th year sober and she would be so proud of me. I wanted to do something to honor her, today would be it. I saw the mountain near by in my mind and where to go up there I was not sure.. but we started driving and I came up to the first lookout on Knox mountain, it was 730 pm and it was gorgeous and blue and it over looks the lake and the whole city. I just listened and was directed to a rock I could sit on... and just said mom it's time to let go... My biggest terror in my whole life was loosing my mom... and I was time for me to face that final moment today...
I was so peaceful... it just was a few moments... I said I love you and drove away... she can overlook my little apartment if she just makes a short flight... she is always with me... wow It was some ride eh mom... so happy that I chose you to work all this out with. I remember her lying in bed one day, in so much pain, and I kneeled beside her and said I was sorry that whatever all this is about I just missed it... I am so sorry..

I love you mom, Jayme
