Miracles are seen in light.
“It is important to remember that miracles and vision necessarily go together. This needs repeating, and frequent repeating. It is a central idea in your new thought system, and the perception it produces. The miracle is always there.”
THIS NEEDS REPEATING, AND FREQUENT REPEATING.
I love it. The miracle is already here. If I don’t see the miracle, it’s because my eyes are closed, which obviously means I don’t have “vision” … because miracles and vision go together.
Do you see what this says??????
The miracle is already here. It’s not coming in the future to reveal itself to you at some later time. The miracle has already occurred. It is here today. Do you see it?
If you do not see it, then your eyes are closed. You cannot see the miracle in darkness.
Be prepared for the miracle to take a different form from the way you thought it would present itself to you. The miracle is already here, but you may be unaware of it because you were expecting different results. Perhaps you prayed to have a better relationship and suddenly your spouse is yelling at you and calling you an idiot and wants a divorce. Where is the miracle in this, you ask??? Or you ask to be happy and know God and suddenly you lose your job and you have no money to pay your bills. Where is the miracle in this??
It’s right there in front of you.
Do you see how you try to organize everything to go the way you think it should go?
When something is falling apart, let it fall apart. Don’t try to hold on or to patch it back together. It’s faster this way.
You asked for a miracle. You asked for vision.
AND THE LIGHT IS HERE RIGHT NOW, WHILE YOU GROPE IN DARKNESS WAITING TO SEE A MIRACLE.
The miracle is already here. This is the solution. What is happening right now in your life is the miracle. Accept it as perfection. Keep going. If you could see the invisible realm – where God and the angels are standing in the light right in front of you – you would never doubt again.
This journey is about learning to put your faith and trust in the invisible – in God.
There is another world going on all around you. It is here right now, while you struggle and search. The bright new world is literally all around you. In this moment. God is here. All your prayers have been answered.
But is your attention elsewhere?
“To be told that what you do not see is there sounds like insanity. It is very difficult to become convinced that it is insanity not to see what is there, and to see what is there instead. You do not doubt the body’s eyes can see. You do not doubt the images they show you are reality. Your faith lies in darkness, not the light. How can this be reversed? For you it is impossible, but you are not alone in this.”
I love it.
You are asked to put your faith and trust in that which you cannot see BUT WHICH IS TRULY THERE.
Already all your problems have been solved. You are being led to the next event, step by step, and if you listen carefully you will be told specifically what to do and where to go.
Are you listening?Are you asking? Are you paying attention?
OR are you trying to hold things together? Are you clinging to your job, your relationship, your little life (which never gave you real comfort and or lasting security)? Are you using mindless magic so that things go YOUR WAY?
Don’t forget: you asked to be transformed. You asked for changes to take place in your life.
I have learned that the “miracle” almost never takes the form I imagined. Often, it look like a disruption, like things are failing. It doesn’t seem like a miracle when my life is falling apart.
“Now is the time for faith”
Miracles are seen in light.
This path as the savior takes guts and courage. But you are not alone. There is nothing to fear. You are asked to follow Jesus – to follow your heart – and let that be your guide.
No one can tell you how this works, not even me. I cannot possibly know what you – or anyone else – needs to do. I cannot instruct you in the specifics. But you have a Guide who is with you now and you can ask Him and He will tell you what to do.
You are not a body. You’re a mind. You’re Spirit. You’re light.
The best instruction I can give is: “Don’t hold onto anything.”
This takes courage to let things fall apart and transform.
I ask you to read the section in Teachers Manual under “What are the Characteristics of a Teacher of God” under TRUST. There are 5 stages each of us will go through until we reach a period of achievement … and each stage in this journey totally sucks. You might as well hear it. Total disruption at every level, that’s why TRUST is necessary:
1. Period of undoing: this need not be painful, but is usually so experienced.
2. Period of sorting out: This is always somewhat difficult
3. Period of relinquishment: … it will engender enormous conflict.
4. Period of settling down: this is a quiet time, in which the teacher of God rests a while in reasonable peace … The teacher of God needs this period of respite. He has not yet come as far as he thinks.
5. Period of unsettling: were not each step in this direction so heavily enforced, it would be hard indeed!
6. A period of achievement.
So there you have it. This journey is NOT for the faint of heart. It takes courage to let your old thought system be undone. It takes willingness to let your old life fall to dust so your new life can rise up in its place.
You are told ahead of time what will happen. You will be undone. All your ideas of safety and comfort are stripped away so you can be shown REAL safety and comfort in God.
Here is some good advice: “Let go and let God.”

I really like the idea of equating light/mind to vision itself, instead of something known or seen or experienced, since all things known, seen and experienced occur IN, and depend upon, vision for they’re being. Vison is already present. We are that. Removing the blocks that seem to distort and refract vision is the job of the miracle and the miracle worker. Thanks Lis!

OH WOW. Does this statement need to be distributed to everyone, from world leaders on down, or what?!?! Seriously. Think of all the wars, diplomatic issues (grievances), ages-old problems that nations are still holding. In our own lives, we hold onto so much junk that’s falling apart that there’s hardly any room for the light. I look back at my past sometimes and feel like I lived in a cellar filled to the ceiling with my grievances and preconceived notions. I have to remind myself all the time: LET THIS GO.
