Today’s my birthday.

My favorite day of the year. Better than Christmas. Better than Easter. I’m a twin, so birthdays were always a gigantic affair … Princesses for a Day … which somehow seems to have caught on in my brain, extending into my overall way of being.
I think every parent should treat their kids like Kings and Queens and Princes and Princesses … because it makes a huge difference.
And on a larger, grander scale: to start today to treat everyone like royalty.
It’s a great way to go through life.
That’s Lori with the book and me in the background. That’s me in the second photo. And the rest of the photos, that’s me on the left, Lori on the right.

LOL.
I’ll be filing this post under “Good for a laugh.”
I love the fruit pants.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!
I get really in to my birthday, too. I stretch my birthday celebration through a whole month. It started when I was little, because both my brother and I have birthdays in September, his at the beginning and mine at the end, so we would have a big party together in the middle of September and then our own personal little parties on our birthdays.
Hope your birthday is fit for a Queen!
Love,
Carrie
p.s. love the pictures… and the pants.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! WOW!! And a twin — how cool is that!! I totally agree with you about treating the children as King and Queen — We do that in our house too!! Their birthday’s are way bigger than any other holiday — full of kids in the house — presents — making the cake with the birthday child — ummmm what else is our tradition! oh the daughter has breakfast with daddy and my son has breakfast with Mommie!! They love it!!!
ENJOY YOUR BIG DAY — CELEBRATE LIKE A QUEEN WOULD!!! You are truly awesome! Keep it up.
Love,
Donna
