Build your house on stone, in God.

Here in Lake Delton, Wisconsin where I live, a dam broke yesterday and drained a 245-acre lake in 2 hours, taking 5 houses with it. The lake is completely dry now. It also swept away a major highway.

As you can see, the road has been destroyed, with a river going through it:

This CNN video is a great example of what the bible says: do not build your on sand. Build the foundation on stone.

2nd Video: In this video, the house is swept away in its entirety

Matthew 7: 25-29

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

That’s for sure! Watch the video:

28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Jesus says: “Judge not, that ye be not judged.”

Matthew 7

Here is Luke 6:

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

I’ve lost my cats, Sam and Enzo. Or at least, I’ve temporarily misplaced them. They are out there somewhere.

    Calling all you “Angels”
By now most of you know about the flooding which has and still is going on within my state here in Northern Wisconsin.
I am asking each one of you to please listen to your heart. This is a time in which each of us can extend the peace, love and joy which God has given to us.
Many things are needed: donations of money, housing, bottled water, medical supplies, clothing along with things I cannot even think of simply because I have never been in a situation like this.
For those of you who want to get involved you may contact Lisa directly also feel free to get in touch with me. Today, I will be contacting local churches, businesses, etc. to see what can be organized as soon as possible.
Remember not to get side tracked keep looking to God always this is where the answers will come from.
    Thank you,

    Hi Lisa,

You continue to demonstrate what ACIM is really saying and that is more than I could ever ask for, my heart and prayers go out to all those that are suffering and I pray that they receive the eternal gifts like Love , compassion , strength . courage and faith to get thru these difficult times. I remember seeing a woman on CNN during the hurricane in the south, she said “when i got on that tree branch I did not believe in God, and when I got off … I did.
    Maybe that says it all.
    I love you, Jayme
