It can be but myself I crucify.
You are always, only, hurting yourself. No one is doing anything to you. Nothing is happening to you except what you wish. This world and your life is a dream of your own making, and it does not exist.
“When this is firmly understood and kept in full awareness, you will not attempt to harm yourself, nor make your body slave to vengeance. You will not attack yourself, and you will realize that to attack another is but to attack yourself.”
“Today’s idea is one step we take in leading us from bondage to the state of perfect freedom. Let us take this step today, that we may quickly go the way salvation shows us, taking every step in its appointed sequence, as the mind relinquishes its burdens one by one. It is not time we need for this. It is but willingness. For what would seem to need a thousand years can easily be done in just one instant by the grace of God.”
Until this shift has been accomplished (think assemblage point, read yesterday’s blog post), you can not perceive that it is but your thoughts that bring you fear and deliverance depends on you.
“Our next steps will be easy, if you take this one today. From there we go ahead quite rapidly. For once you understand it is impossible that you be hurt except by your own thoughts, the fear of God must disappear. You cannot then believe that fear is caused without. And God, Whom you had thought to banish, can be welcomed back within the holy mind He never left.”
You are strong, and it is strength you want.
And you are free, and glad of freedom.
You have sought to be both weak and bound, because you feared your strength and freedom.
Yet salvation lies in them.
There is an instant in which terror seems to grip your mind so wholly that escape appears quite hopeless. When you realize, once and for all, that it is you you fear, the mind perceives itself as split. Yet in this instant is the time as well in which salvation comes. For the fear of God has disappeared. And you can call on Him to save you from illusions by His Love, calling Him Father, and yourself His Son.
Pray that this instant may be soon, – today. Step back from fear, and make advance to love.
**** When the fear of God is gone, there are no obstacles that still remain between you and the holy peace of God. How kind and merciful is the idea we practice! Give it welcome, as you should for it is your release. It is indeed but you your mind can try to crucify. Yet your redemption, too, will come from you.
This is great. It doesn’t take time. It takes willingness.
Am I willing to move entirely from being a body to being the light of the world? Am I willing to let go of my limitations and stories? Am I willing to stop crucifying myself? Am I willing to stop attacking my brother?
It doesn’t take time. It takes willingness.
Am I willing to be perfect as God created me? Am I willing to be the light, joy, peace and happiness that He created?
Love is the way I walk in gratitude.
The whole journey is the catapulting into higher frequencies where you go from being a solid human body to Spirit, all light. You undergo a transformation from what appears to be a dense slow low-frequency of a condition of a solid body, like moving through molasses to a fast high-frequency where your mind moves quickly, your body does what it needs to do effortlessly and there are no problems and there is only joy.
You move from one world to another world by the shifting of your mind.
Obviously, when this really happens (not just as a concept or as a nice idea), but as a real experience when you spring into Heaven, it’s going to be dramatic. Which is why I chuckle about spiritual groups getting together, having a nice time, feeling good, holding hands, being nice, meditating, and talking about ideas they heard or read about. You’ll never be catapulted that way.
I know a lot of people who say “I read the Course every day” and then wonder why they are still stuck in a condition of darkness.
The reason is because you must be catapulted from your fixed position.
In Carlos Castenada, he talks about an assemblage point and how each of us has an energy “body double” that surrounds us at all times. The body double is already in the other world while your solid body seems stuck and fixed in a world where there are problems and perceptions. So what the warriors used to do is SCARE the students out of their bodies, scare them out of their fixed position. Often this would be accomplished by the warrior hitting the student at the assemblage point (a point on the energy body where all the energy patterns and habits “assemble” in one place), and the student would be in the new world.
What this means is that you must disrupt your current energy patterns that hold you together (for example, as a nice spiritual student of A Course in Miracles). You must disrupt the way you are assembled. You are not going to accomplish this by “thinking” or by meditating or by studying a book.
You have a willingness to let the light move.
Obviously, this would be very dramatic, and would require a tremendous amount of energy to separate the solid body from the “light body.”
What happens is the physical body fails or it falls. It ceases to hold itself together, and the “body double” goes traveling into new realms, into higher frequencies.
And so … the best way to accomplish this is to fail in your life. Most people are afraid to do this. They are terrified to let themselves fall apart. They are afraid to crumble. So they hold themselves together and try to have an experience on their terms, by trying to gently be in Heaven.
There is no such thing as a term like GENTLY when you are talking about energy. You can’t go from solid to light by being nice. Think about massive thunderstorms and how they clear the space. They are dramatic, messy and scary.
This is the reason why most people who come into an awakening experience got it because they failed. They hit a bottom with their drinking. They went through a divorce. They went to jail. They were shamed in front of their families. The solid body/identity could no longer hold up the appearance any more.
I remember when I got into the AA 12-step program everyone was shocked. I had held myself together for so long that when I admitted failure and defeat, my identity as a “success in the world” melted away. It crumbled in one second. I couldn’t pretend anymore that I was happy. I couldn’t pretend that I had all my ducks in a row. I let myself publicly crumble in a heap on the floor and I let myself be a mess and a failure.
And this was the beginning. The identity crumbles in failure and defeat and the “body double” catapults to higher frequencies where there is only love.
And now you might understand why you are still struggling. You are trying to hold yourself together. You are not allowing yourself to be disrupted. You are trying to move into new worlds while still holding onto a nice appearance. It will never work that way.
LET YOURSELF FALL.
LET YOURSELF FAIL.
And today’s lesson “Love is the way I walk in gratitude” cannot be understood in this world. You have to catapulted into the real world, into Heaven, to have any idea what this means.
You are not going to “get it” or “be awakened” by trying to understand what this lesson means. It’s not understandable as you are assembled as a fixed identity in time.
LET YOURSELF BE DISRUPTED.
LET YOURSELF BE VERY AFRAID.
You have to be willing to move into a new space, to allow yourself to be disrupted. Yesterday’s lesson “I place the future in the Hands of God” means that anything can happen, and that I, as a dedicated disciple of Jesus, am willing to let anything occur. I’m not afraid to fail. I’m not afraid to look like a fool. I’m not afraid to make mistakes.
I’m not afraid to lose my body. I’m not afraid to lose my identity. I’m not afraid to lose my job. I’m not afraid to lose my marriage. I’m not afraid to lose the world I constructed.
Love is the way I walk in gratitude.
You can shift the point today by doing today’s lesson 100%. As you shift into a world where you appreciate all things, in all ways, in all circumstances, you will be catapulted into a new world.
What you will find is that you won’t be able to sustain it for very long. You will retreat back to darkness, probably within an hour. The reason for this?? Because you are assembled as a fixed point of energy based on a lifetime of habits and perceptions based on worldly learning.
So, what is the solution? Keep remembering to be grateful. Love is the way I walk in gratitude. Keep forcing yourself to go into the new world. Every time you remember your gratitude, you go into a higher frequency.
And when you slide back down into darkness again, shift the assemblage point again, and remember your gratitude. Keep shifting it. Don’t try to “understand” this lesson. Just do it. Be grateful. Be happy. Appreciate every one.
“Our gratitude will pave the way to Him, and shorten our learning time more than you could ever dream of.” Gratitude goes hand in hand with love, and where one is the other must be found.”
“God gives thanks to you, His Son, for being what you are; His Own completion and the Source of love, along with Him.”

What an amazing idea! To place the future in the Hands of God. This lesson is asking me to let go of all my plans, all my past ideas, and all my goals … and place the future in the Hands of God.
There is really nothing left to add. This lesson asks (in the most simple basic terms) that I place the future in the Hands of God.
This is the day I stop controlling, planning and manipulating. I place the future in the Hands of God.
Which is quite amazing because now anything can happen, and will.
I arrive 100% in this day and make a decision to be led to a future that is known by God.
I release my plans. I release the past. I release the future.
I place the future in the Hands of God.
The only question would be “Am I willing to do it?” because the lesson itself is clear and self-explanatory.

This lessons works. I have seen it in action, and I continually see it in action.

All things are lessons God would have me learn.
“God does not know of learning. Yet His Will extends to what He does not understand, in that He wills the happiness His Son inherited of Him be undisturbed; eternal and forever gaining scope, eternally open and limitless in Him. That is His Will. And thus His Will provides the means to guarantee that it is done.”
This is similar to yesterday’s lesson in that God doesn’t know of forgiveness and God does not know of learning. Yet we have been given both forgiveness & learning by the One Who loves us to lead us out of time, which is a condition of limitation, sickness, pain and fear.
Lately what I am learning is that it is possible to go beyond all learning and to simply stand in the place where God is.
It is possible to remember your Identity (as love and light) at all times, if you have a little willingness to remember.
Lately I am learning that I have everything I need. I’m learning that I don’t require hardly anything at all. I am learning that the simple life is the best. I am learning to stay quiet and watchful. I am learning to conserve my energy and not waste it chasing after things. I am learning to let all things come to me. I am learning that it is best to work with the forces of nature and to allow things to flow naturally. I am learning that energy works in short bursts – like when there is a dramatic thunderstorm or a tornado, it comes out of nowhere and then passes quickly. That much energy cannot sustain itself for extended periods of time. And so it is with us – we have cycles. Sometimes there is a lot of energy to do a tremendous amount of work, and other times it is time to rest. I am learning to not push the energy, but rather to let it flow to where it needs to go.
Lately I am learning that I am blessed indeed. I am aware how much has been given to me in the simple things: my friends, my family, my marriage, my work.
I am learning to stay in a state of constant gratitude.
I am learning that in every situation I have the opportunity to look again and see something entirely different. I have eyes to see.
“God does not perceive at all. Yet it is He Who gives the means by which perception is made true and beautiful enough to let the light of Heaven shine upon it. These are the lessons God would have you learn.”
Each lesson has a central thought, the same in all of them. The form alone is changed, with different circumstances and events; with different characters and different themes, apparent but not real. They are the same in fundamental content. It is this:
Forgive, and you will see this differently.
Can you believe it??? That’s the lesson in every situation. Forgive, and you will see this differently. That’s the entire Course in Miracles summed up in one sentence. Forgive, and you see this differently.
Nothing at all is happening to you. No one is doing anything to you. You have made a world that you think is real. That’s all. Forgive, and you will see this differently.
Everything thing, every person, every event, every circumstance offers another opportunity to love.
How simple!

You’ll start to notice how easy the lessons really are. You are not training to be a brain surgeon here. This is not rocket science. You are learning to do what small children know how to do naturally: give, love and be happy. That’s it!
Small children don’t even know how to forgive because their attention spans are so short! There is nothing to forgive. If someone upsets them, knocks them down, pulls their hair, they cry their eyes out for 5 minutes and then they promptly forget all about it, and then they are laughing again.
Here’s today’s practice exercise:
“Each hour, spend a little time today, and in the days to come, in practicing the lesson in forgiveness in the form established for the day. And try to give it application to the happenings the hour brought, so that the next one is free of the one before. The chains of time are easily unloosened in this way. Let no one hour cast its shadow on the one that follows, and when that one goes, let everything that happened in it’s course go with it. Thus will you remain unbound, in peace eternal in the world of time.”
Amazing, right??
Every hour release everything that happened to you. Let every moment be a clean slate. Forget your stories – FORGIVE – and watch all pain and fear disappear.

I totally love this lesson. The only way to fulfill a function like this (to be God’s sacred Son, forever pure as He, of love created, and in love preserved, extending love, creating in its name, forever one with God and with your Self) is to go beyond the world and stand with God. Be in Heaven. Rise up, and get out of the battleground. Be in a higher frequency of energy. Be as God created you … whole & perfect.
Forgiveness represents your function here. It is not God’s creation, for it is the means by which untruth can be undone.

One of my favorite sentences in A Course in Miracles is “Forgiveness does make lovely, but it does not create.”
I love that. Forgiveness is NOT the highest goal. Forgiveness is still time-based and while you are still in a “process” of forgiveness, you are unable to tap into the power of creation. Forgiveness does make lovely. It does make you a nice human being. It does make people like you … but it does not create.
I don’t know about anyone else around here, but I want to get to the fun of creation. Forgiveness does make lovely, but it does not create.
The ONLY WAY to get to that space is to forgive everything. You can do it today. You can let go of all your grievances. Drop all your problems like a hot potato.
Most people wait around for circumstances to change so that they can forgive, and this will keep your trapped in pain and sickness … and yet … the prison door is open and you can walk right out.
Does God forgive?
No. Of course not. There is no need. Why would a perfect Creator of a perfect Son and a perfect Universe need forgiveness? He knows all things as One, which is your final destiny.
You are what God is. You share the same Mind, which means you think like God. You have the ability to love all things with a perfect Love, because you are what God is.
The logic of this lesson is astonishing. Your function in time in forgiveness. Your function in Heaven is creation.
So where are you? What are you going to do?
Are you in the world or Heaven? Do you forgive or create?
Jesus said, “I am in the world, but not of it.”
Jesus stood with God. He was in Heaven, in perfect communion with God, while his body appeared to be in the world teaching a message of truth.
This would be YOU now. You are the holy Son of God Himself, and all the angels rejoice that the time has come at last to usher in a new world.
On earth, you need the means to let illusions go. Creation merely waits for your return to be acknowledged, not to be complete.
Creation cannot even be conceived of in the world. It has no meaning here. Forgiveness is the closest it can come to earth. For being Heaven-born, it has no form at all. Yet God created One Who has the power to translate in form the wholly formless.
See that?
You can break through the time/space barrier because you have a Guide with you, who can lead you there, and translate all form into the wholly formless.
There is a whole other world around you. Can you see it? You have eyes to see it. You’re not alone. What your physical eyes perceive is illusion.
Wondering how this is accomplished? BE A MIND. BE SPIRIT. BE LIGHT. “The mind without the body cannot mistakes.” Think about that for a second.

The light has come. You are healed and you can heal. The light has come. You are saved and you can save. The light has come. You are the Son God loves.
For a while, it might seem like there is a “process.” You need to forgive all things to enter into a state of Heaven. You cannot carry a single grievance. You must forgive your enemies. You must forgive yourself. But this doesn’t take time. You can accomplish all this today.
Once you have made a decision that you want the peace of God (and really mean it!) forgiveness itself disappears. It is then no longer needed. Where is forgiveness when you have the peace of God?
Can you imagine living in a world where nothing bothered you? Can you imagine a life where you let everyone be exactly as they are, and where you love everyone perfectly without ? Can you imagine?
“Who can be born again in Christ but him who has forgiven everyone he sees or thinks or imagines. Who could be set free while he imprisons anyone? Therefore, hold no one prisoner. Release instead of bind, for thus are you made free. The way is simple.”
It becomes a happy game, really. You start to look at your life and the thoughts that occupy your mind and you immediately realize where the solid blocks are. A situation or person will rise in your awareness that produces conflict in you. And in that same moment, you will realize that thought is trapping you in time & space. It holds you prisoner. Then, having made a decision to be in a space of CREATION, you let the grievance go. You just let it go. It’s that simple.
“Your function here on earth is to forgive him (your brother, the Son of God), that you may accept him back as your Identity. He is as God created him. And you are what he is. Forgive him now his sins, and you will see that you are one with him.”
So this is an extremely practical and personal lesson which you can practice today. Forgive everyone you have been holding prisoner. Forgive that “other person” his madness that your madness be forgiven.
“Only appreciation is an appropriate response.”
Gratitude is the way and the truth and the life.

I read this yesterday on the bus back to Boston from CT, and brain sockets were being exploded. Circuits were being lit one by one, like being electrically on fire.
Suffice it to say, a 4-hour bus trip went by in about 30 seconds … I was so engrossed in this book and these ideas.
The reason I love this article the most is because most people who “do” A Course in Miracles and who have “read” Lesson 191 (I am the holy Son of God Himself) don’t actually believe it is true. No one really goes “all the way.”
Not even myself.
Most people just read this lesson quickly, and then off they go back to their old bad habits and human ways.
You are the Holy Son of God Himself. You are! This is unbelievable.
Are you, who is reading this, willing to go all the way?
I am willing to give it a try.
Charles Fillmore says that no one in the history of man has gone all the way since Jesus.
“WHEN WE SING, “I’ll go with Him all the way,” we do not always realize the mighty import of our words. Jesus went all the way from the human to the divine. He went all the way to immortality. He raised not only His own consciousness from despair and hopelessness to assurance and confidence in the presence and continued help of a loving Father-God, but He opened the way for the whole race to do likewise. When we determine to follow Him all the way we undertake the mighty work of the ages, a revolution of character before which the famous tasks of Hercules pale into insignificance.

It also explains why our life as a people was no longer receiving the energy flow from the parent stream. Like the prodigal son, we had gone into a country far from the Father, and there was a famine in that land. We were starving for the divine substance and got no satisfaction out of the husks, the food of the swine.
Because of the gulf between the Mind of Being and the sense mind of the race, no life flow was possible. Then Christ incarnate in the flesh through Jesus offered His body as a life or electrical transformer. The atomic units of His body were sundered and sown as points of life and light in our mind and body atmosphere, to the end that anyone who concentrates his thoughts on Christ in faith will attract as a spiritual magnet one or many of His body atoms. These Christ atoms, appropriated by the individual, become food and drink and form the nucleus of a regenerated body for the person appropriating them.”

Thus the body and life elements of the Christ body were sown as seed in the soil of our race mind, and it is our privilege to appropriate and incorporate these precious elements into our mind and body.
The body of Christ Jesus is not to be subject to permanent disintegration and death; in the creative processes of God it must be made part of our redeemed body and restored to its parent source, the Christ. As He said, “Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.”

I am the holy Son of God Himself. I cannot suffer, cannot be in pain; I cannot suffer loss, nor fail to do all that salvation asks.
And in this thought is everything you look on wholly changed.
“Join with me today. Your glory is the light that saves the world. Do not withhold salvation longer. Look about the world, and see the suffering there.”
“Is not your heart willing to bring your weary brothers rest?”
“They must await your own release. They stay in chains till you are free. They cannot see the mercy of the world until you find it in yourself. They suffer pain until you have denied its hold on you. They die till you accept your own eternal life. You are the holy Son of God Himself. Remember this, and all the world is free. Remember this, and earth and Heaven are one.”
I choose the joy of God instead of pain.
This is easy. I choose joy instead of pain. Plain and simple.
In every situation there are only two response, love or fear, and in every situation I am the DECIDER of what I want to see and feel and hear. I choose. I decide.
Love or Fear.
Joy or Pain.
The other day I got a message from someone who wanted my help with her grievances with her mother. She said that she reads ACIM every day, and she knows what to do, but she doesn’t do it, and did I have any suggestions for her?
I wrote back “Yes. Simply do this: appreciate and love your mom.” I cited my favorite sentence from the Course: “Only appreciation is an appropriate response to your brother.” I wrote, “This is guaranteed to solve all your problems.”
She wrote me back within minutes:
“It’s just I don’t see the situation lessening any. So, I thought you might have another idea.”
Crack me up. You offer someone a solution that is GUARANTEED to solve all problems, no exceptions, and the response is: “No, let’s try something else.”
“It is your thoughts alone that cause you pain. Nothing external to your mind can hurt or injure you in any way. There is no cause beyond yourself that can reach down and bring oppression. No one but yourself affects you. There is nothing in the world that has the power to make you ill or sad, or weak or frail. But it is you who have the power to dominate all things you see be merely recognizing what you are. As you perceive the harmlessness in them, they will accept your holy will as theirs.”
“My holy brother: think on this awhile. The world you see does nothing. it has no effects at all. It merely represents your thoughts. And it will change entirely as you elect to change your mind and choose the joy of God as what you really want.”
How cute is this guy? He chooses joy over pain.
If a dog can stay continually joyful, then so can I.
I feel the Love of God within me now.
Boy, is this the truth! I feel it!
After a while, you can FEEL the light within you. You start to FEEL the love of God within you. It’s no longer just nice-sounding words on the page. Suddenly you begin to FEEL light and love in your body and in every cell.
You’ll start to feel things shifting and moving in you and it might be a little startling, scary and shocking at first, like “what the hell is happening here?????”
It’s the light.
“There is a light in you the world can not perceive. And with its eyes you will not see this light, for you are blinded by the world. Yet you have eyes to see it. It is there for you to look upon. It was not placed in you to be kept hidden from your sight. This light is a reflection of the thought we practice now. To feel the Love of God within you is to see the world anew, shining in innocence, alive with hope, and blessed with perfect charity and love.”
Beautiful, huh??
“Today we pass illusions, as we seek to reach to what is true in us, and feel its all-embracing tenderness, its Love which knows us perfect as itself, its sight which is the gift its Love bestows on us.”WE LEARN THE WAY TODAY.
Simply do this:
“Be still and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is; all concepts you have learned about the world; all images you hold about yourself. Empty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad, of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which it is ashamed. HOLD ONTO NOTHING. Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned before from anything. Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God.”
Father, we do not know the way to You. But we have called and You have answered us. We will not interfere. Our hands are open to receive Your gifts. We have no thoughts we think apart from You, and cherish no beliefs of what we are, or Who created us. Yours is the way that we would find and follow. And we ask but that Your Will is our own as well, be done in us and in the world that it become a part of Heaven now. Amen.

Wow. This lesson is wow.
Everything is here already. Everything is healed already. Everything I want is here already.
“Why wait for Heaven? Those who seek the light are merely covering their eyes. The light is in them now. Enlightenment is but a recognition, not a change at all.”That’s it.
Everything you have been seeking for is already in you, just waiting for you to recognize it. Lately I’ve been thinking about how light is greater than darkness. When light comes, darkness disappears. And when darkness comes (like when night arrives), light disappears. But as soon as you bring in the light again, the darkness disappears.
If you put darkness and light in the same place, at the same time … light always wins. And so when you bring your awareness to the light that is within you (in what you think is a very dark place), the light “removes all thoughts of the ephemeral and valueless.”
See how healing is accomplished?? This is why you need do nothing. The light does the work. It kills cancer cells. It dissolves anger. It shines away pain and depression and sickness. When the light is recognized, the darkness disappears.
All things are healed, because they are healed already.
“The peace of God can never be contained. Who recognizes it within himself must give it. And the means for giving it are in his understanding. He forgives because he recognized the truth in him. The peace of God is shining in your now, and in all living things.”In quietness, it is acknowledged universally. For what your inward vision looks upon is your perception of the universe.

I am continually amazed that every day offers me a brand new experience.
Every day my dedication is to keep an open mind so that I experience something new that I have never seen or heard before. This means to show up in every day with no plan and no agenda, with child-like anticipation and eyes and ears wide open.Obviously if I want to have a new experience then I don’t know what it will look like before it happens, because it has never happened before! This is logical. I don’t care to repeat what has already happened in the past. I want NEW things to be happening, things that I don’t know about before they happen. I don’t want to keep circling around in routine or repetition. I want to go forward into unknown territory. This is the adventure. We travel together.
I don’t care about being a great teacher. I’ve done that already. Been there, done that. Now I want to see miracles occur and mountains moved. I want to follow Jesus and have new sights and sounds revealed to me every day.
Every morning is like Christmas morning because I don’t know what the Holy Spirit is going to bring me that day, but I know He’s bringing me something and I know it’s gonna be good!
I am loving this Louise Hay book “You Can Heal Your Life.” Thank you Jesus! It is bringing new insights into my awareness and consciousness. It’s delighting me in its simplicity and practical lessons.Thank you Louise Hay!
I went and bought a beautiful journal at Barnes & Noble yesterday so that I can do the exercises in this book. I lot of buried beliefs are coming to the surface, and it’s not taking any time at all. It’s like excavating and I’ve been led exactly to the spot where the crap is. It’s like the Holy Spirit took a bright light and shined it to the exact location where healing needed to occur and He said: LOOK HERE.
I can feel the energy and healing occurring in me. I’m really grateful. It’s like I came to CT just to find this book!!
The most important message in “You Can Heal Your Life” is this: “I am willing to release the pattern in my consciousness that created this condition.”
So you are not trying to heal the condition itself, but rather you are releasing the underlying patterns that created the condition. It’s so cool.
For me, I am looking at the patterns that have created deafness. What is it that I don’t want to hear?
Growing up I thought almost everything people said was meaningless, redundant, mean and stupid. So it’s no wonder that one day I couldn’t hear any of it.
But lately, I’ve been meeting a lot of people – in person and through letters I receive because of Gorgeous for God – and I am being shown that there are extraordinary, INTELLIGENT, heartfelt beautiful individuals expressing magnificent ideas in sincerity and innocence.
I used to think “everything I’m learning and hearing is stupid.” I thought I was smarter and better than everyone. I would think “Why am I learning battle dates and calculus? What is it for? This is a total waste of time. How is this going to help me in daily life?” I saw the ridiculous nature of tests and memory learning very early on as a child.
As a result, I developed a pattern of being stubborn and independent. I liked to be left alone. I didn’t want to be bothered. I preferred quiet. I didn’t want to hear what people were saying. I developed very low tolerance for conversations, discussions, stories, questions, and remarks.
But I am willing to change!
I am willing to change my patterns of isolation, stubbornness and independence that created a condition of deafness. I see that I have no need of it anymore! It protected me for a while from the harsh noises of the world, but I don’t need it anymore.
Amazing. I can let the wall down. I can invite people in. I can interact and listen. What an amazing revelation!
I’m realizing that I WANT to hear your personal stories and questions because everything is the Love of God.
I can let go of my need to control the world and universe! Ha What a relief.
In practicing and looking at my unconscious beliefs these past 2 days, I have been experiencing tremendous release. I can actually feel blocks being undone and walls coming down. I can FEEL the Love of God within me.It’s possible to hear and see love in everything.
I don’t have to protect myself anymore with limitations and disabilities. That’s amazing.
Which brings me to today’s lesson: I BLESS MY BROTHERS BECAUSE I BLESS MYSELF.
“Protect all things by the act of giving them away, and you are sure that you will never lose them.

I see the beauty of being a beginner every day and every moment! God help me when I think there is nothing left to learn. God help me when I think I don’t need my brothers. God help me if I think I know something. You are MY teachers! I bless you because I bless myself.I bless the world because I bless myself.

Now we are blessed, and now we bless the world. What we have looked upon we would extend, for we would see it everywhere.

This is wonderful. I don’t have to worry about other people. I only have to be concerned with myself.
I am in Connecticut now at a big beautiful house with my friend Hilton. I had the best morning ever. I woke up at 5am, wide awake, and went to his bookshelf and found a book I have been wanting to read for a very long time: You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise Hay.
It’s so great. I’m loving every sentence and I am loving every page. It says all healing is accomplished by being willing to change and by realizing that all sickness is caused by fear and lack of love. That’s it!
All sickness and problems is caused by fear and lack of love, and both are only thought patterns in the mind.
All healing is accomplished as you make a decision to see things differently and to be willing to change. ”Salvation of the world depends on me.”
Here is the other reason I killed Boot Camp: Who am I to say how long healing or transformation is accomplished for anyone??? 8-weeks is an arbitrary meaningless number. Forgive me my madness. Healing is accomplished in the amount of time YOU decide it is going to take you. Your thoughts decide everything that is happening to you. And within you is the power to disrupt all your patterns of fear-based thinking and be healed, whole and perfect as God created you.The time it takes you is up to you. How wonderful! It can happen today! It can happen this weekend! It can happen in an hour! It can happen now!Healing doesn’t take 8-weeks. It doesn’t take a year. It doesn’t need complicated classes or a structured program.
All it needs is:
1. a willingness to change
2. a willingness to look at your resistance
3. a little effort to disrupt the patterns that are creating problems and sickness.

Lesson 186 of A Course in Miracles says “there is one way, and only one, to be released from the imprisonment your plan to prove the false is true has brought to you. Accept the plan you did not make instead. Judge not your value to it. If God’s Voice assures you that salvation needs your part, and that the whole world depends on you, be sure that it is so.” I love today’s lesson. I don’t feel like writing about it or commenting on it … I feel like reading it.
Plain and simple.
So that’s what I am going to do: I’m going to shut off the computer and go read today’s lesson. It offers me everything I need to know.

I want the peace of God.
This is the lesson – THIS IS THE ONE – that changed everything for me. I say a lot of lessons are my favorite, but it is actually this lesson where a dramatic observable shift occurred in me. I want the peace of God.
Listen to this:
“To say the words is nothing. But to mean these words is everything. If you could mean them for just an instant, there would be no further sorrow possible for you in any form; in any place or time. Heaven would be completely given back to full awareness, memory of God entirely restored, the resurrection of all creation fully recognized.”
“Many have said these words. But few indeed have meant them. You have but to look upon the world you around you to be sure how very few they are. The world would be completely changed, should any two agree these words express the only thing they want.”
I want the peace of God.
So one day – ONE FINE DAY – I said “I want the peace of God” and for the first time in my life … I really meant it.
Before that day I had said the words probably a thousand times like a parrot repeating a phrase it had heard. I would say “I want the peace of God” nonchalantly, like it was something so obvious that it was not even worth saying.
But one day, I realized that I didn’t really want peace, and that’s why I was in conflict all the time. I wanted chaos and excitement and trouble, and so all day long I would pull past stories up in my mind to wreck my peace of mind. I would defend myself. I would call people up on the phone and ask them to explain their behavior. I sulked and cried.
And then I wondered why I wasn’t at peace when I wanted it sooooo badly. If only other people would act appropriately! Boo hoo hoo. If only other people would change their ways and be nice! Poor Lisa. Everyone is picking on me. Boo hoo . Hoo.
LOL.
And then one day, it was like a lightening bolt crashed into my head. I got it! I want the peace of God! I really got it. It was one of those defining turning moments in my life. I want the peace of God and I mean it!
Wow.
And ever since that day, I let everything roll off me. I am happy to be wrong. I’m like a little kid in a playground. I don’t care about looking like I fool. I want the peace of God. People can call me naive or stupid, I don’t care at all. I want the peace of God. I want to be happy. If someone wants to be right, I let them be right. If someone is attacking me, I stand still and I don’t attack back. I listen and I love.
And attack disappears and I’m back in the peace of God again.
It’s really amazing. Everything bit of conflict disappeared in my life – absolutely and forever. This was a couple of years ago that I declared “I want the peace of God and I mean it” so I can assure you that the peace of God is not a fluke and it is not fleeting. It is constant. As I stopped using that energy and power to defend myself that same energy was re-channeled for communication purposes. Without the cobwebs of darkness and defense clouding my vision, my mind became bright and clear.
You really should witness this for yourself in your own life. It’s truly miraculous. Everything dark disappears as you declare you want the peace of God.
But here’s the key: You have to really mean it! You have to really want peace!
As soon as you mean it, it will be given to you – absolutely and forever.
I am laughing that today’s lesson is “I want the peace of God” because yesterday I killed Boot Camp. Why?? Because I want the peace of God! I had been conflicted about it for two days. I want to be helpful, definitely, but not as someone’s personal therapist/teacher. I don’t want to be responsible for someone else’s experience or transformation. No thank you. I’ve got enough things going on in my life. I don’t want people writing me and calling me for 8-weeks with their problems, questions and stories. Why would anyone (in their right mind) open up a can of worms like that?
I just want to give and extend. I thought it would be a good idea, but immediately I felt the disastrous nature of a program like Boot Camp. At least for me. I’m more like a one-way street where I just channel the light outward. I’m not designed to interact “one-one-one” for extended periods of time. I don’t need 8 weeks to give you everything you need.
All day yesterday I kept praying “I hope no one signs up.”
HAHA. That set off loud warning bells. HAHA.
Too funny. I used to be a waitress and all night long I would think “I hope no one sits in my section” and then if someone did sit in my section I would get mad. I always wanted all my customers to go sit somewhere else. LOL. A clear obvious sign that I am not designed to be a waitress.
And I’m not designed to do “one-on-one” personal instruction. Yuck. I have no tolerance for people’s stories and problems. I’m sorry, but I don’t. I’m more like a broad satellite, sending off messages to anyone who is tuned into the signal. That’s me.
I want the peace of God. I want to be happy.
I want to use the power that has been given to me to write, teach and give. If I started instructing people personally – as a personal therapist/teacher – I’d have no energy left over to do what I am really designed to do: to communicate this message to the world.

“No one who truly wants the peace of God can fail to find it. The peace of God is yours.”
“For you was peace created, given you by its Creator, and established as His Own eternal gift. How can you fail, when you but ask for what God Wills for you?”
I left out one very important element in this morning’s post about Inheritance.
I wrote that you should do what you love, and make it happen.
I am a true believer in taking action steps and moving in the direction of your vision – listening to that “still, small voice” and going for it with all your heart, mind and soul .. but there is one crucial element that is always first and foremost in my mind, and that is this:
THY WILL BE DONE.
God’s Will be done.
Not my will … Thy Will.
That’s the most important thing of all. Don’t ever forget it.
God is All.
As you go along, you will encounter some situations that are definite road blocks and closed doors, where nothing seems to happen no matter how hard you try, or how much you want it.
This is when you “stop” and “stand still” and “step out of the way.”
Remember that you are here for the salvation of the world.
You will know when something is not working. You will know when it is YOUR plan, and not the Holy Spirit’s Plan. Trust me, you will know. When it is your plan, it will be difficult, frustrating, confusing and you will not be at peace.
When it is the Holy Spirit’s Plan, all doors swing open, all the money you need to accomplish His Goal will be there for you, and you will be joyful, creative and you will completely lose track of time.
There are other times when you are going along, all is effortless, and then in one quick swoop you are turned in an entirely different direction. There might be an accident, or someone dies, or a plane is delayed, an event is canceled, or you get a phone call that the schedule has been changed, or that you’ve been fired, etc. Just follow the way in which you are being led.
GO WITH THE FLOW.
The Holy Spirit shines a spotlight on the path, and shows you where to go.
When it is YOUR plan: it will feel like WORK.
When it is the HOLY SPIRIT’S plan: it will be EASY.
That’s the best barometer I know.
The reason for this is because the Holy Spirit is doing all the work. You’re not actually doing anything at all. The Holy Spirit works THROUGH you, and so everything you do is easy and effortless. It’s like being a passenger in a car and watching the scenery as someone else drives the car. You just sit back and relax, and if something needs to be done, the Holy Spirit will do it through you. Some people think being a follower of Jesus should be painstakingly difficult – as if sacrifice and suffering are involved. But Jesus took the last useless journey to the cross. He did the difficult work for us – for me – and that’s why I’m always so grateful.
There is no need for you to carry “an old rugged cross” with you anymore. There is no need that things be difficult. There is no need to suffer or struggle.
Jesus accomplished the journey for us.
All we are asked to do is demonstrate His message – to teach, love, give and be happy.
That’s it!
You have wings and you are meant to fly.
And if you are stumbling along, then something has most definitely gone wrong.
All you need to do then is stop, stand still and listen to instructions.
“You will be told specifically what to do.” – ACIM Miracle Principles.
A Course in Miracles is about learning to allow the Holy Spirit to work though you.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

“The Name of God is my inheritance.”
The mass majority of people live in poverty consciousness. They think in terms of nickels and dimes. One thing I have noticed is that most people, when offered something really interesting to do, automatically start naming all the reasons they cannot do it, with lack of money being at the top of list.
You are offered an opportunity that could change your life, or would give you a memory that will last forever, and you say “no” because of no money. This is the saddest thing ever.
A new way of living is to start looking at all the reasons/possibilities of how you COULD do that interesting thing. Start finding ways to make it happen.
What would you do if money was not an issue???
Now go find a way to do that very thing.
Most people spend their whole life waiting for their circumstances to change. They think “sometime later, in the future, I will have money to take that trip or take that class”.
In the meantime, they wait. In the meantime, their whole life passes them by.

“Regret for things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for things we did not do that is inconsolable.” – Sydney J. Harris
What most people do not realize is that a single day or a single event can change the whole direction of your life, but instead they wait, they wait, they wait. They stay home because of “no money.”
Meanwhile, life is passing them by.
They count all the reasons to NOT do something when they could be using that same power of mind to find creative ways to make it happen.
You have an inheritance.
The Name of God.
It is your inheritance.
It offers you everything.
If money was not an issue I would go to NYC this weekend, while I am in the neighborhood of New England.
I have a friend there who has been begging me for a year to come visit him. So I have a place to stay – and he said he’ll take care of meals and food – there’s just no money to get from here to there. Then a few days ago my dad offered me a job cleaning the windows in his house for $10/hour and now I am going to New York tomorrow morning.
Most people would say, well, you can’t go to New York with only a bus ticket.
I say, Why not?
Live a little.
I’ve heard stories of people who have $10 and from that $10 they become millionaires.
(being a millionaire is not my goal … my goal is to live each day to the fullest doing what I love – writing, traveling, inspiring people and teaching about God.)
I’m simply reminding you that endless possibilities are offered in this very moment, and you have everything you need now to start living your life, and to do cool things.
What is it you want to do? Forget about money for a second. What do you want to do?
Now go do it. Put it in motion. Choose one action – today – that moves you in that direction. No more waiting. No more wishing. No more praying for a “miracle.” No more procrastinating. Whatever you have been secretly asking for in your heart, go do it now. Claim it.
You have an inheritance: THE NAME OF GOD.
The Name of God is your inheritance.
It offers you everything.
What are you waiting for?
Opportunities are being presented to you every single day and you say “No, I can’t, I have no money.”
???????
What is up with that?
Get creative. Start saying “yes” and make something happen, instead of constantly saying “no.”
There are solutions to every single problem.
If there is something you really want to do and you are saying no because of no money, you need to take an honest look at that.
Today’s lesson is a reversal of the way you think. You have an inheritance, you know. The Name of God can buy you more than all the dollars of the world combined together.
The world is not real. It is illusion. You can do what makes your heart sing. You don’t have to trudge along in a job that makes you miserable. Find what you love and do it. Today is the start of a new beginning.
The problem most people have is that they don’t know what they want. They don’t know what they love. They have been so long limited by other people’s demands and scarcity thinking about how to pay the bills, that they have never taken the time to really think “if I could do anything, what would that be?”
I am not saying quit your job, but I am saying if there is something you want to do, then start making it happen. Start taking the steps today.
Ever since I was a girl, I had an idea that someday I would publish a book. But for my entire adult life I thought I wasn’t a good enough writer and I didn’t have the money and I didn’t have the contacts, and year after year after year kept passing me by. I had a hundred excuses why it couldn’t be done. Finally one day, my friend Max yelled at me (Lisa!! Enough! ) and he said he was so sick and tired of hearing about me talking about writing a book that he was going to loan me the money to self-publish. (Just do it! Get it done! Stop talking about it! Just write the damn thing, for crying out loud!)
He offered me a loan after 3 years of my bitching and moaning about all my poverty and all my reasons I couldn’t write a book, but in hindsight, if I had been thinking creatively, I could have asked him (or anyone else) for a loan 3 years prior.
Or I could have just written the book and bought some stamps to find a publisher. I could have done any number of creative things to make it happen.
The Name of God is my inheritance.
There are no limits on you. You can do anything you want (“live the life you imagined” -Thoreau) but NOT while your mind is cooking up all the reasons you can’t do it.
If you want to do something, do it. For crying out loud. Start thinking outside of the box. Stop procrastinating. Stop waiting to win the lottery. Stop waiting for circumstances to change.
Circumstances will NEVER change. You change. You make a decision to start living and to stop waiting. It’s that simple.
If you want to do something, do it. Don’t wait.
The Name of God is your inheritance.
Today’s lesson is about using all the symbols of the world to accomplish a teaching function to demonstrate God’s Love here on earth. You use the symbols of the world without being deceived by them.
“They become the means by which you can communicate in ways the world can understand, but which you recognize is not the unity where true communication can be found.”
“Thus what need are intervals each day in which the learning of the world becomes a transitory phase; a prison house in which you go into the sunlight and forget the darkness.”
This is ultra important: You need to take time every day to remember the truth, to remember the Name of God. It might seem like nothing at all is happening, but you still need to take these intervals, and in no time at all you will begin to see that your life has become one big miracle. You’ll begin to see that you are alive, and you are doing what you love.
The most depressing sad thing is to spend your life in procrastination, waiting for something to happen.
Be alive.
Here is mind-training in action…
Hi Lisa, I am thinking .. about my recent trip to Vancouver, something inside me changed and I started to say “morning” to every person I passed. And all the stories about .. people don’t want to be close, all fell away when I was willing to make a connection with them. So on my way to Starbucks, a sad face would smile and respond “morning,” so would a head looking down, it would suddenly pop up and smile and say “morning, ” some mumbled ” morning” and the funny thing was I felt different, better, happier. So for 4 days the city became a very friendly place for me…what is missing is up to me to add it or give it or put in… IT’S UP TO ME…. wow. So today’s lesson “above all else….above all the old ideas of the world… I want to see differently. Yes this is sure true for me. Above all else I want to see things differently. wow wouldn’t that be great, I am glad to be shown that I have been wrong about every thing.. a liar from the beginning..there is a real healing, O I love to be wrong now…. wow.

I call upon God’s Name and on my own.
This lesson – practiced by you – releases everyone in the world from suffering, sickness and pain.
I remember years ago someone told me that all minds are joined and that individuals who have done spiritual/healing work before me have actually saved me time by the work they did for themselves.
He said that when an alcoholic quits drinking and is healed from alcoholism, that one individual makes it easier for every other alcoholic in the world to quit because all minds are joined.
The first one to attempt a change has the most struggle and difficulty, but he paves the way for every one else.
And that’s the reason why so many people lately are “suddenly” interested in ideas of truth, God and Jesus because of all the individual dedication throughout the years and throughout history. We can thank those teachers who came before us for their years of hard work. What might have taken someone like Eckhart Tolle 20 years from his initial experience to arrive at a place of constancy of peace & joy, will only take you 20 minutes … because of the work he did for 20 years.
He plowed through the thickness and density of the mind through daily dedication and you will hear some people say “It was so difficult!! It took me years (to wake up, to quit an addiction)” meanwhile you are saying “Really? I have no idea what you are talking about. For me it was the simplest thing in the world. I just woke up one morning and I saw everything clearly (or suddenly one day I lost my desire to drink or smoke anymore, it was lifted from me, it was not a struggle at all)”
That’s because THEY did the difficult work for you! You should thank them and give them all your gratitude for their years of dedication.
This is today’s lesson. As you sound the name of GOD through your mind, it ripples through every mind. Your work and dedication makes it easier for everyone to step into this experience.
As you sound the name “God” in your mind, someone in India or China or New York suddenly feels a wave of peace, and they have no idea why.
It’s because of you.
You have the ability to heal the world through your mind.
“Repeat God’s Name, and all the world responds by laying down illusions. Today you can achieve a state in which you experience the gift of grace. You can escape the bondage of the world, and give the world the same release you found. You can remember what the world forgot, and offer it your own remembering.”
As you breathe easy, every else in the world starts to breathe easy.
As you let go of ideas of sickness, suddenly everyone else in the world realizes they don’t get sick anymore.
As you experience joy, people around the world start feeling happy for no reason at all.
All because of you.
You are the savior of the world.
Your mind contains every mind. You have the power to ripple the Thought of God through every mind. You accomplish this in the space/location you find yourself in this very minute.
Healing is accomplished, right here and right now.
You can stop what you are doing (reading this blog) and repeat the Name of God. You do this for everyone in the world. This is the dedication that is asked of you, that you take some time each day to remember God’s Name that people in the world will feel peace and rest and happiness.
All that is needed is the Name “God”.
No other words are necessary.
“Words are insignificant, and all requests unneeded when God’s Son calls on his Father’s Name. His Father’s Thoughts become his own.”
“God’s Name can not be heard without response, nor said without an echo in the mind that calls you to remember. Say His Name, and you invite angels to surround the ground on which you stand, and sing to you as they spread out their wings to keep you safe, and shelter you from every worldly thought that would intrude upon your holiness.”
