I give my life to God to guide today.
Okay, here is a great practice. For one day – today! – give your life to God to guide. Give him all your thoughts today. Give him all your acts as well … that you may do His Will instead of seeking goals which cannot be obtained, and wasting time in vain imaginings.
What have you got to lose? It’s only for one day. See what God does through you. See where God takes you. Just for one day. For fun. For practice. Even if you think nothing happens, that’s still a good starting point because at least then you’ll be asking yourself the question “How can something invisible guide me?”
Another emotion that often comes up is doubt – you will think you cannot hear God’s Voice guiding you, or you will question whether it is God or the ego.
This is good!
At a minimum, there will have been A MOVEMENT in your mind from observer to participant. The first step is the most important … where you shift your focus from the world to focus on listening to yourself, which is what God is.
Then you just follow instruction. You go where God would have you go. You do what God would have you do.
It is super important that you start to know how your mind works, and to watch the thoughts that it contains. Move away from outside voices and start listening to God who is in you.
I encourage you to start testing these ideas out in your daily life because that’s the only way you will know they are true.
God is in you. He is you. He will guide you if you let Him.
Most people – sincere honest people – never step into the actual practice, preferring instead to keep reading A Course in Miracles every day as if they were nice ideas on a page, in a pretty blue book.
Most people keep thinking a miracle or transformation will happen in the future … but here’s the thing … there is no future! There is only now. Today’s the day.
It’s time to get off the bench and get into the game.
Today, God comes to you. Step back and merely follow. He’s the Guide. You’re the follower.
Just as a baby learns to walk on his own two feet, you must learn as a beginner how to walk with God.
Today, we have one Guide to lead us on. And as we walk together, we will give this day to Him with no reserve at all. This is His day.
THIS IS HIS DAY!
And so it is a day of countless gifts and mercies unto us.
And when the day is done, I would love a report from you. Please write to me at lisanatoli2@gmail to let me know what it was like having God guide your life, your thoughts and your acts.
Even if you think nothing happened, please still write to me. I want you to be aware all day long that you are allowing God to guide your life.
I want you to witness this new way of living. You will be astonished.
WOW SWEETHEART, WHO INSERTED THIS LESSON.. I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE.!!!!!! What a new bright light idea. First, get Up and Give my day to God and not give far- flung furry rat’s ass what this meant.. just GO, GO, GO. Give 200%. Exhaust myself, Just giving… and let God guide me. I remember when I started doing this, I could only start in spurts and I would ask Jesus in the supermarket… guide me.. should I buy broccoli or carrots? Wait. And trust Carrots. I learned not to wait until the rent was 3 days overdue or I was standing in the middle of the highway with a dead vehicle to try to let God guide my day… and sometimes it has taken just that , when everything is crashing down around my ears and all I did was take my crash helmet off and give ‘er to God… usually crying and wailing and flailing . This new lesson is the total solution. Isn’t that remarkable, Jesus let’s no one day go by that He has not given me the TOTAL SOLUTION, and then HE patiently says.. ok I Know you did not get it.. so let’s look at it this way… ok child, today is a new day…why don’t we try this.?Over and over and over again… wow. Look at the Love , total and complete in every lesson.. He just gives everything in one day.. wow.. in my seeming mistakes… NOW HE SAYS …. CHILD, NOT THIS WAY.. IN COMPLETE FAILURE, CHILD, NOT THIS WAY … COME WITH ME.. LET ME CARRY IT… oH LISA, I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS HAPPY , I AM SOBBING HERE.. IN LOVE… WOW THANKYOU .. JAYME

Lisa.. wow! I gave the day to God and I am in the most HOLY PLACE ON EARTH.. I Gave, I gave, I gave.. went to help a sick friend to clean her place, yesterday and today… today was easier.. I took the light with me from this morning and I love living in the SOULUTION… and not the problem.. I went with the flow.. and tonight Jesus, in the HOLY INSTANT just gave me my assignment.. in one thought I know what He wants to Use me for.. and it is nothing I would have ever chosen. Why, because I am terrified to do it.. and yet now I am excited to begin and I have to just remember my lesson from giving service.. God does not choose the prepared. He prepares the chosen… I am living that daily.. why did I have to wait so long? Because my motive for making a living and making money is always about making my body better and more comfortable, oh just think i can join that cool gym with all that money and be thin to attract another ’savior’ to save me from my self… oh goodie.. more money, a car, a house, new clothes, vacations.. oh Lord,save me from myself.. Now I have been given a reason that could only come from God, go out and give everything so I can help my brother. I already have everything… now go out and work to be truly here for someone else and not me.. wow breathe… you wanted to die daily Jayme, well here it is.. and all the terror is giving way to LOVE even as I write this.. see a brother’s interests as not separate from mine.. there is the gift… give it to God.. wow… If someone said I was going out to sell something… I’d throw myself under the train.. now it is, look at the immensity of this.
