I LOVED this book!!!
I finished reading Brida yesterday.
I know I already wrote about it a few days ago but it gets a second recommendation from me. It’s brilliant and beautiful.
I’m going to read it again. I read it at lightening speed – in two days – and I found that I was so excited by the story, that I was skipping some sentences in my excitement. Ooops. My mind went into over-drive a little, going 120 miles/per hour. LOL.
But wow wow wow wow.
It’s filled with diamonds & gems.
Four things especially that I loved were:
1. The importance of the words you use – God is everything there is – and we need to become aware of the vibration of words and their effects. God is all. God is the word. Other words should be dropped – they are unnecessary and meaningless.
2. Do not describe emotions. Every experience you have in the world is simply to allow you to discover your Gift. Each one of us has a Gift and we are to find that gift and use it to serve God. The only thing of any value in this world is finding that Gift. The 9 gifts are described by St. Paul’s First Epistle to the Corinthians: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, the discerning of the spirits, speaking in tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. You have a gift and it is your mission to find it, uncover it and use it.
3. You should wear all your clothes in your closet. Ha. Practical advice! It says all your clothes have an energetic charge and that you should wear them all, or get rid of the ones you are not wearing. Keep the energy moving.
4. Begin to listen to the sound of the world. This sound goes on all the time – it’s an undercurrent which is a vibration and it goes on constantly, although most people are unaware of it. You should start dancing to that sound (not dancing to music, but rather dancing to the sound of the world, moving with it) to become one with that ever-present vibration.
There are so many beautiful ideas in this book, practically on every other page, but rather than describe them all here I am simply going to suggest you buy a copy of the book for yourself to see first-hand what I am talking about.
