Time for a food post!
This pumpkin bread rocks the house. 3 cups of sugar and 1 cup of vegetable oil! LOL. Trust me, it’s delicious.
Pumpkin Bread
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
small can of pumpkin (15 oz)
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking soda
2/3 cup warm water add slowly.
Very easy to make:
1. Mix the first ingredients together in one bowl
2. Mix the second ingredients together in a different bowl.
3. Mix the two bowls of ingredients together
4. Add 2/3 cup warm water, slowly, and mix.
5. Pour into two greased bread pans.
Bake for 1 hour at 350.
Test doneness by inserting a sharp knife into bread. If the knife comes out clean, the bread is done.
Serve hot, warm or cold with lots of butter
