I did a great radio interview last night with Joany Cravener. We were talking about A Course in Miracles and I was telling her how I get quite a lot of emails from people who sincerely follow and practice the lessons of A Course in Miracles but who write me and say: Why do I keep forgetting all this??
And she said … “fear.”
“The reason people “forget” the simple instructions to love and forgive is because of fear. Fear of God. Fear of the light. Fear of the loss of their own self-identity.”

Fear binds the world. Forgiveness sets it free.
Truth shines away all illusions. Truth never makes attack. It merely is. And by its presence is the mind recalled from fantasies, awaking to the real. Forgiveness bids this presence enter in, and take its rightful place within the mind. Without forgiveness is the mind in chains, believing in its own futility. Yet with forgiveness does the light shine through the dream of darkness, offering it hope, and giving it the means to realize the freedom that is its inheritance.
Fear binds the world. It binds you to the world, because it is a world of your own making. It is not real and it does not exist. You are free to leave it behind any time you choose. What you “see” are images that started in your mind with your own idea of what you wanted … and if you don’t like what you see, you are free to change your mind.
A lot of people are terrified of the light. They don’t know what will happen if they let go of their plans for security and safety. They think they will lose all that they have, or that they will die or their relationships will crumble. So they hold onto the little they have, trying to protect it, meanwhile wondering why their life isn’t working.
It’s very much like stepping off the cliff. If you want to take flight, you have to eventually leave the solid ground.
You will eventually make a decision that you will be 100% constant and consistent about these instructions in A Course in Miracles.
Remember …
This is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time.
Either you are doing the little that is asked of you … or you are not. And you will be able to tell which path you are following by the way you feel. If you are joyful, then you are standing with God. If you are confused, doubtful and angry, then you are binding the world with fear.
It’s Thanksgiving today. It’s Thanksgiving every day. Your holiness blesses the world. You are a light that Heaven gratefully acknowledges as its own.
Through your holiness the power of God is made manifest.
Through your holiness the power of God is made available.
Here is true “manifestation.” You stop trying to manifest things to you as if you are a magnet … and instead you allow God to be made manifest through you. !!!!

That is so amazing to me. What a privilege. God is made manifest through me. I let that love flow through me so everyone can see it. What a gift. I’m laughing again.

Your holiness blesses the world. There is nothing your holiness cannot do.

My function is to see the world through my own holiness. How could I possibly have a problem? Problems and darkness disappear when I acknowledge my own holiness, and accept my Identity in God. I am the light of the world.
Where are problems now?

What a tremendous gift that we have been given: a way out of hell. I love Jesus. I love God. I love you. I am blown away that I have an instruction manual that tells me exactly what to do and what not to do. I love its simplicity.

Hi lisa, thank you for being here for me everyday. I am just over the half way mark with the lessons and everyday you bring me to a new place with ACIM.
I spent some time with Master teacher today… I just need to turn on the video and I am in tears and can feel how much he loves me. And How much I love him… He is my benchmark for love… to love all equally.
He is my Miracle and I am in eternal thanksgiving for him and for the gift of everything he gives.
IN 58 mins he can turn me around and have me standing in a light so bright that I can see forever.
In God time disappears and place is a meaningless belief.
In God I am freed from the no-thoughts of a no-mind going no-where….
