It cannot be evaded, set aside, denied, disguised, seen somewhere else, called by another name, or hidden by deceit of any kind, if it would be escaped.
It must be seen exactly as it is, where it is thought to be, in the reality which has been given it, and with the purpose of the mind accorded it. For only then are defenses lifted, and the truth can shine upon it as it disappears.
Father, forgiveness is the light You chose to shine away all conflict and all doubt, and light the way for our return to You. No light but this can end our evil dream. No light but this can save the world. For this alone will never fail in anything, being Your gift to Your beloved Son.
Cool — was thinking this morning how much hatred is in my heart and how in the world can I let it go. How I have really good reasons to keep it — justifiable reasons! LOL. Because I am RIGHT. RIGHT. Damnit! Logged on and read today’s lesson.

I am thinking about the time that i really saw the depth of my hatred and it was only eclipsed by the depth of my fear… I remember sitting in how much I hated everyone and everything in the world… I was trying to surrender.
Just have the willingness to sit in the darkest place on earth… it was in me.
And then you came.
And the light came with you.
God came.
Forgiveness came.
Forgiving myself is forgiving the world.
Forgiving the world is forgiving me.
It is one and the same.
One done in full commitment would free everyone and everything.

A dream.
I am whole and perfect as God created me and I never left Heaven.
All I had to do is give up me

Wishing I understood the directions: Simply transcend, and give it up and let it go.
I mean, I WANT TO.
And I’m still angry.
Anybody have some concrete advice out there about their own experience on this? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK.
Specifically, I feel abandoned and betrayed by my mom. She is on a trip and will be back on Monday and I would like to be able to look at her without a past. when she arrives. I have been helpful to the best of my ability while she is gone — and my stories are still haunting me.

There are lots of places in the Course that use the words transcend, give it up and let go but today’s lesson is not one of them. Today, you are are asked to to see the conflict exactly as it is, where it is thought to be, in the reality which has been given it and with the purpose that the mind accorded it.

Lori, I can feel your frustrations…”Moms” can be tuff ones…I don’t know your “story”,
but, it doesn’t matter, they all have the same ending when they are keeping you
from peace…Ask for help to understand what you are fearing, and why you are
choosing to hold on to your past….Something MaryAnne Williamson wrote in Return
to Love, ” We are much harder on ourselves than any parent was or is..”, Maybe
your buttons are pushed because you have decided to hold on to grievances of your
past…that need to be forgiven..When you think of “what its going to be like…” you
are not in the moment…thus, that energy..you are feeling…is going to create the
“fear” of the exact thoughts you have..then you are creating the blocks caused
by fear…relax…pray…do your lessons, and know…you can choose..to attack your
self, with thoughts that are not real…(even if your confused while your in your story)
Be in the moment, trusting, and not allowing anyone else or yourself to disturb
your peace…while you are shining with love, accepting your thoughts of trust, love
and joy, to be with you…it will transform and you will have the answers always, to
accept His help..and know exactly what to do, say, act, and be….Be easier on yourself…love yourself totally, seeing the Love of EVERYONE around you…as
you are….You are not alone….breathe in love…and expect the miracle…You don’t have to carry this “story” with you…have a do-over…right now…each moment…you can
start anew…Go ahead…you know your ready to LET IT GO!!! You may still have
times that you feel the “story” get to you…thats ok…just, ask for your true self to
choose again…remember…its all about You…if your attacking something outside
of yourself, its time to look at the “fear” within..to get to the Love that is waiting
to be released!!! Love to you~
