I love this lesson. Somewhere in the Course it says something about your brother is designed to imprison/trap you to the dream/time and space AND to save you from the dream you made. Both functions. He is both your enemy and your savior depending on how you are using him for your own purposes. Are you letting him trap you in time in space with all his demands and questions and excuses OR are you seeing him as the Christ, realizing he is your ticket out of here??
In searching for this section on A Course in Miracles Online, I stumbled upon something else spectacular. I typed in the search words “your brother” and found these sections:
These sections all stand in shining brilliance as reminders of your function along with your relationship with your holy brother.
As you see yourself, you will see your brother.
If you see yourself as beautiful, your brother will look beautiful to you.
If you see yourself as guilty, ugly or limited … you will see your brother as treacherous.
If you think you are a body, you will think your brother is a body too … and it will not occur to you that among us are angels and messengers.
If you think you are human, you’ll think everyone else is human too. And you’ll feel threatened and afraid of everyone and everything.
But when you know there is nothing outside of you, you’ll be happy all day long. You’ll be crazy head-over-heels in love with everyone, and in this kind of bright light … all your problems disappear. Automatically and spontaneously.
As see yourself as a Mind, you will realize everything else is Mind also – alive and creative and magnificent.
As you see yourself as the Christ, you will recognize your brother as the Christ and it would NOT occur to you to condemn him, confound him or question him. You would simply love him. You would give him everything – all your attention, all your love, all your care – in the recognition that he is you.
Without attack there could be no forgiveness.
What you choose to see you will behold.

Wow. These lessons are amazing.
For me every morning (and all through the day) it’s like receiving a beautifully wrapped gift filled with treasures with these lessons.

I am in AWE to have been given the Master Teacher in my dream. My God. The gratitude! While I was with him I took him for granted and I didn’t always take advantage of the help that was being offered to me. I could never really see what he was or what he was offering … except for occasional tiny glimpses.
But now I see how very changed I am, and how blessed I am to have had a teacher who was offering me the truth every single day, day in, day out, telling me non-stop it is a dream of my own making and does not exist. Someone who was completely dedicated to me until I woke up.
Every day. Seven years.
I knew something brilliant was being offered to me, but hell if I knew what it was! I was equal parts scared, excited, confused, and happy. I had no idea what was happening.
Although … I knew enough to keep showing up every day. I knew enough to not wander off. I knew enough to do the work. I knew enough to listen.
I wanted to travel beyond the veil. I wanted to have an experience of ONLY LOVE. I wanted to see how deep the rabbit hole really went.
I wanted to know – AS A REAL EXPERIENCE, not just as a concept – that this world is an illusion.
I knew that A Course in Miracles was not just another self-help path, and I also knew that the Master Teacher was unlike any other human being I had ever met … and in this sense I knew he wasn’t human.
I knew he had a human form – he looked human and often he acted human – but what he was teaching was something else entirely. And so I knew I had been given a tremendous gift – to be given a teacher who expressed ideas that were the opposite of what the world teaches.
He’s laughing like crazy. I’m laughing like crazy.
“All worldly states must be illusory. If God were reached directly in sustained awareness, the body would not long be maintained. Those who have laid the body down merely to extend their helpfulness to those remaining behind are few indeed. And they need helpers who are still in bondage and still asleep, so that by their awakening can God’s Voice be heard.”
It’s accomplished. I have asked if there are problems or if anyone needs help and my email box is silent. This is good news. It worked. The world is silent in the grace He has given.

Our use for words is almost over now. Yet in the final days of this one year we gave to God together, you and I, we found a single purpose that we shared. And thus you joined with me. We are the bringers of salvation. We accept our part as Saviors of the world, which through our joint forgiveness is redeemed. And this, our gift, is therefore given us. We look on everyone as brothers, and perceive all things as kindly and as good. We do not seek a function that is past the gates of Heaven. Knowledge will return when we have done our part. We are concerned only with giving welcome to the truth.
Ours are the eyes through which Christ’s vision sees a world redeemed from every thought of sin. Ours are the ears that hear the Voice of God proclaim the world as sinless. Ours the minds which join together as we bless the world. And from the oneness that we have attained we call to all our brothers, asking them to share our peace and consummate our joy.
We are the holy messengers of God who speak for Him, and carrying His Word to everyone whom He has sent to us, we learn that It is written on our hearts. And thus our minds are changed about the aim for which we came and which we seek to serve. We bring glad tidings to the Son of God, who thought he suffered. Now is he redeemed. And as he sees the gate of Heaven stand open before him, he will enter in and disappear into the Heart of God.

That is amazing. To look upon all things and give only love. What a novel idea! Can you imagine this? To look upon all things and not judge them, but give each thing a miracle of love.

Today I have guests at the Inn. This is an amazing job. Anybody who has never considered staying at a Bed & Breakfast, I’m telling you … it’s the best deal around!!
Cheese and crackers and wine when you arrive. Breakfast in the morning. A big beautiful house. A fireplace. Freshly baked muffins straight out of the oven. Two Christmas trees. All for $125/per night. Where can you find this kind of service at this kind of price in a hotel?
Who knew?
And I get to meet all sorts of interesting people.
I was born for this job.
It’s wild that this Bed & Breakfast situation just landed in my lap the way that it did. I didn’t “do” anything to get it. It’s a perfect set-up and I’m totally amazed by all the opportunities that I have to bless others. They literally come to my doorstep!! I don’t have to go anywhere, and I don’t have to do anything except be myself.
I’m reading an awesome book – a classic – called “In Search of the Miraculous” by P.D. Ouspensky about the teachings of G. I. Gurdjieff. There is an interesting idea in here that it’s “impossible to do anything.”
You don’t DO anything. Everything happens.”

“As I have said before, man’s chief delusion is his conviction that he can DO. All people think they can do, all people want to do, and the first question all people ask is what are they to do. But actually nobody does anything and nobody can do anything. This is the first thing that must be understood. EVERYTHING HAPPENS. Think about this next time you are angry or fearful.
Just look at it. There’s no need for anger or fear. It doesn’t accomplish anything. Fear and anger are meaningless emotions that drain you of energy. The other interesting thing is that you expend a tremendous amount of energy being angry at people and they don’t even know anything about it!
Max and I like to say to each other: NOBODY CARES!
LOL. It’s true. Nobody cares. Here lies your freedom and escape from pain. You are working yourself up in a knot about other people, and nobody even knows about it. Nobody cares. They are laughing and having a good time and you pissed off and scared.
Look at it logically. Fear and anger does nothing (except maybe hurt you and make you sick and stressed out). It doesn’t accomplish anything. Be reasonable. You spend your whole day being angry or fearful, and what does it accomplish?
Nothing.
So why do it?
Can you be afraid when surrounding you is God’s perfect Love?
What can you fear when God created you in holiness as perfect as His Own?
If you are fearful or angry, it means only one thing: you have forgotten the truth. You are in those lower frequencies again.
When you are in time & space … you get time & space
(fear, jealousy, loneliness, anger, fear, sickness, and death)
When you are in Heaven … you get Heaven
(perfect love)
So the question is: Where are you?
You can live in Heaven starting now, if you choose.
God’s Grace is sufficient and will lead you where you want to be.
God’s grace suffices us in everything that He would have us do. And only that we choose to be our will as well as His.

Anger must come from judgment. Judgment is The weapon I would use against myself, to keep the miracle away from me.

If miracles are not happening for you, ask yourself if there is judgment in your mind. Judgment can be towards you or others. It can be vocal or silent. Often times it is entirely unrecognized. Think of the number of times during the day you think something negative about yourself. Think of the number of times you think something about yourself that relates to your body: “I’m fat, I’m no good, I don’t have any money.”
These are judgments.
And for the for record: Judgments are HUGE BLOCKS that keeps out the miracle.
They are like cement walls in your mind.
A Course in Miracles is a systematic way to remove the blocks, walls, and obstacles to the awareness of love’s presence.
“Straighten my mind, my Father. It is sick.”
The work is to clean out the clutter from the mental closet of your mind. Winter cleaning to dispose of the mind junk, mind clutter.
There is work to be done. THIS WORK is the only work that has any importance. If you are conscious, you will become aware of the necessity for constant mind-watching and correction. You will see that all day long your mind slides back down into the muck. At a certain point you will recognize that you keep dipping down into frequencies of time & space all day long, a million times a day. This is what it means to be awake: you see clearly what you are doing. You suddenly know the way your own mind works.
If you are vigilant you will be able to catch yourself quickly by this one red warning signal: YOU WILL FEEL BAD (fearful, angry, sad, depressed, tired, anxious)
If you feel any emotion other than love & happiness, you are trapped in time & space … and you will get all the experiences that go along with time & space. It’s a frequency of energy. And yes, it sucks. And when you are trapped in the world, you are literally swirling in that energy.
You have no business being there! Your home is in Heaven.
You might say: “I don’t know how to get out.”
Just walk away. One time I got invited to someone’s apartment and I went there and it was in a really bad neighborhood. I walked in and everyone was passed out from drugs. It was in the middle of the day. The place reeked of alcohol, shit and piss, and I had to walk over passed-out bodies. There was cocaine and needles everywhere.
Do you think I said: I don’t know how to get out (of this particular frequency of energy) so I guess I’ll just have to live here from now on? I guess this is my home. I stumbled in here so I guess I have no choice.
Hell no. You stumbled into time & space and YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE. There are options and you can walk away. If you don’t like your condition then walk away from it, for Heaven’s sake.
Don’t surrender to an environment that you don’t belong in. Your natural state is constant joy and abundance.
Stand with God and let Him Judge you. He will judge you correctly and remind you of your true self: that you are light, love, joy, happiness, peace and creation.
Listen today. Be very still, and hear the gentle Voice for God assuring you that He has judged you as the Son He Loves.
God loves you, and so do I.

I love this lesson, and I find it especially funny that it today’s lesson. Why? My website has disappeared off the map, including all my admin information. I renewed my domain and apparently something went wrong in the transaction and everything disappeared.

I’m kinda chucking to myself – all that work, my entire website …. gone. All 365 posts that I’ve written this past year. Gone. It’s today’s lesson – today I forget all things except God’s Love.
This Course is uncompromising. You hit a point where NOTHING bothers you. You just want to be happy and the peace of God envelops you. It’s marvelous.

Amazing, huh? There is no room for error here. There is no room to be between worlds. Either you are in time & space worrying, wondering, and fearful OR you are with God and you are happy. These are the choices.
Today’s lesson is practical and easy to do: “I do not seek the things of time, and so I will not look at them.
What I seek today transcends all laws of time and things perceived in time.”
I WOULD FORGET ALL THINGS EXCEPT YOUR LOVE. I WOULD ABIDE IN YOU, AND KNOW NO LAWS EXCEPT YOUR LAW OF LOVE.
This is the reason the Course is guaranteed to work … because it’s working already! The whole mission has been accomplished. So if you are having any difficulties or problems or fear it is for one reason only: you are looking at the things in time. All you have to do is shift your focus and watch the entire scene of your life transform. When you want the peace of God, and you want it above all else, I assure you … it will be given to you instantly.
There is nothing that can harm you. Nothing that can hurt you. There is no loss. Nothing is taken away. One of the main things to learn as you give your life to God to guide is that occasionally your life is disrupted. It’s going to keep disrupting while you learn to focus your attention on God. All sorts of things seem to continually happen until you come to your senses and realize there is nothing in this world that you would exchange for the peace of God. I want the peace of God above all else.
I’m in the new house now. I got Enzo with me. He’s sweet as can be. I got him in the garage to get used to the place and last night I opened the door and he bolted. Went down the road, turned the corner, down to the neighbors. I was following him – it was pretty far …. and it was dark – and I thought I lost him, and I finally I gave up, and thought: Oh well. He’s gone. And then I started walking back to the house, and I was almost back to the house, still whistling for him to come thinking “no way in hell is he going to respond to my whistle now that he’s found his freedom” and I look and the damn cat is right by my side. LOL. He let me pick him up and his heart was beating a million miles a second. haha.
Don’t you worry about anything.

What a glorious adventure! What a sneaky little thing to uncover … that if I want MORE LOVE in my life all I have to do is GIVE MORE LOVE. Here’s the real “secret”. It’s hilarious because it’s so easy, and I wonder how this law escaped my notice for some many years.
I am continually blown-away that what is promised by God is guaranteed.
Ask and receive.
You have an inheritance. You have a treasure house filled with gifts. Have you found it yet? Have you claimed it yet?
This is not a make-believe fantasy, but a real experience. You have an inheritance. It’s not an illusion.
Forgiveness offers you everything. Wait till you see the look on your brother’s face when you forgive him. It is the loveliest thing on the planet.
“He whom I forgive will give me gifts beyond the worth of anything on earth. Let my forgiven brothers fill my store with Heaven’s treasures, which alone are real. Thus is the law of love fulfilled. And thus Your Son arises and returns to You.”
The prison gates are open. You can walk right out into the sunlight. You don’t have to suffer anymore.
I say it over and over and over, but if you have a problem that is unsolvable, please don’t let a whole year pass you by. Okay? Help is available. I am available.
I am here, but who knows for how long? I don’t even know. I’m here for today.

All your problems can disappear today. I’m telling you. This is not rocket science. This is a natural occurrence because you are the holy Son of God.

I am not asked to make a sacrifice to find the mercy and the peace of God.
The issue of sacrifice is THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE/BLOCK that you will encounter as soon as you start to get close to the door to Heaven. It’s an interesting thing: you probably have been praying for something to happen or wishing for a change in your life … and then that something is handed to you on a silver platter and suddenly your mind starts freaking out. All of a sudden, you don’t want the thing you have been praying for. Suddenly, you are thinking of consequences, sacrifices, fear and how this THING YOU PRAYED FOR is going to disrupt your life.
LOL.
We’re really getting into it now.
When you make a quantum leap, the picture of your life is going to change. Guaranteed. You are made brand new. Everything that A Course in Miracles offers you is suddenly given to you.
This is good, right??
Not for most people. Just about the time when you start to feel more love and to see more joy and peace in your life, the tendency for most people is start back-peddling and to cling to the old familiar ways.
Either that, or they destroy peace to create chaos and confusion.
Why is this? Because of the idea of sacrifice.
What is the first obstacle to peace?
Obstacles to Peace – The Desire to Get Rid of It.
The first obstacle that peace must flow across is YOUR desire to get RID of it. For it cannot extend, UNLESS you keep it. YOU are the center from which it radiates outward, to call the others IN. You are its home; its tranquil dwelling-place, from which it gently reaches out, but NEVER leaving YOU. If YOU would make it homeless, how can it abide within the Son of God? If it would spread across the whole creation, it MUST begin with you. And, FROM you, reach to everyone who calls, and bring him rest by JOINING you.
This is now hilarious to me, but it wasn’t so funny for many many years. Why would I keep destroying peace?? Why was I constantly creating chaos in my life? Why is it that every time love knocked on my door I squashed it into a thousand pieces? Why did I constantly do this???
I thought I was going to have to give something up, or lose something.
Plus, I thought a life filled with peace would be boring … BORING!!! … like one shade of gray. I loved chaos despite all my prayers for peace, love, joy and happiness. I loved my addictions. I loved depression. I loved sickness so I could stay home from work and relax. I loved crying into my pillow. Boo hoo hoo.
Until finally one day, I saw the ridiculousness of my situation and I made a decision to stop it, put my toys away and grow up. There is no such thing as sacrifice. You don’t have to give up anything. God only gives. He doesn’t take away.
The practice in Lesson 343 is: God only gives, therefore, I must only give. To not hold back. But rather, to give give give give give.
God, You only give. You never take away. And You created me to be like You, so sacrifice becomes impossible for me as well as You. I, too, must give. And so all things are given unto me forever and forever. As I was created I remain.
I remain as God created me. My function is giving.
Tis the season to be jolly. 
Give Give Give Give Give, and then Give some more.
If your brother asks you to walk with him a mile, walk with him two miles.
Give Give Give Give Give, and then Give some more.
Here is your solution.
If you want to see the change that is promised to you, you must get out of yourself as a limited separate identity that thinks there are other separate bodies that are … well … separate from you. There is nothing separate from you.
You start extending your light – baby steps, if you are afraid – in order to start seeing that everything is one with you.
Keep remembering who walks with you.
Every moment you are choosing between truth and illusion.
Either you are trapped in time & space and you are afraid.
OR
You’re in Heaven and you’re happy, safe and at peace.
All this happens by your decision, in your own mind, this very second. You choose where you reside. Hell or Heaven. You decide.
You can fly right out of this world if you want. There’s no sacrifice.
“Is harmony one note that everybody is singing? Or is it a whole lot of notes that are in vibrational harmony with each other? When you give your attention to anything, the Universe responds to it. When two of you are giving your attention to it, and there is no contradiction, it is a powerful vortex. That’s why a gathering such as this can achieve a great deal as you come together in greater and greater harmony and take thought beyond that which it has been before.”

I let forgiveness rest upon all things,

I thank You, Father, for Your plan to save me from the hell I made.
Ain’t this the truth!!!!
I was alcoholic, depressed, scared, lonely, bored and confused.
I can remember thinking that I would grow old in that condition. I remember thinking that I would be a lonely sad alcoholic right into old age and death. I actually accepted this as my fate. I thought: Well, it’s okay. I’ll just read books and go to the movies, and I’ll be fine.
I actually thought this way. I didn’t think there was anything else I could do. I had tried to quit drinking. I had tried to find love. I tried to find happiness. All my attempts worked for a week or a month, but then I went right back into the hell I made.
Until, that is, that I turned my life and will over to God. This was before I ever heard of the AA program. I simply stood in my living room in Brooklyn, NY and said: “God? … If you are there … I am yours. I’m tired of my life. I want to see something new. If you are there, please help me.”
Nothing happened in that moment (at least nothing I could see with my physical eyes) but 6 days later the whole picture of my life changed.
And a very short time after that, my desire to drink was lifted from me and love started rushing towards me. What a surprise! After all my attempts to find love and failing, suddenly love was rushing toward me like a fast-moving river.
What do I to deserve this??
I invited God into my life. I didn’t make any dramatic gestures. There was no religion involved. I didn’t tell anyone. I didn’t use candles or meditation. I simply stood in my living room, opened my mouth and asked God for help.
And angels rushed in.
Ask and receive.
The hell I made was never real. My personal hell was nothing more than thoughts in my mind that I believed were true. God gave me the means to prove its unreality to me.
I love this sentence:
I stand before the gate of Heaven, wondering if I should enter in and be at home.
There, in that one sentence, is the human condition. You stand before the gate of Heaven, wondering if you should enter in.
The door is right there in front of you, and it’s open. You can walk right through.
There is no need for suffering. You can walk away from all of your problems today. You can leave all pain behind and never look back.
“Let me forgive all all things and let creation be as You would have it be and as it is. Let me remember I am Your Son, and opening the door at last, forget illusions in the blazing light of truth … FORGET ILLUSIONS IN THE BLAZING LIGHT OF TRUTH .. as memory of You returns to me.”
Brother, forgive me now.
I come to take you home with me. And as we go, the world goes with us on our way to God.

I am the only person that can attack my own sinlessness and this is what keeps me safe. Amazing. No one can attack me. Sure, you can TRY to attack me, you can say mean things, you can spit on me and tell me I’m despicable and stupid and wrong, but I have the power within me to remember my own innocence and to not respond to illusions. I have the power within me to not take anything personally.
I have the power of God on my side to remember the truth: I am the light of the world.
Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me.
You are holy, and so is every living thing that God created.
God loves you. He smiles on you in love and tenderness so deep and dear and still that the universe smiles back on you and shares your Holiness.
Am I going to remember THIS – the truth of myself and that God is smiling at me in love – or am I going to believe in lies that body’s eyes show me?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm…….. which one do I choose???

Amazing. Two choices are given to you. Two ways of looking.
Which way you do choose?
A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what is sees is false.
I was in Philadelphia this whole week at a book publicity conference. It was the best gift I have ever given to myself. Why? It was an ACTIVATION – the fire has been turned up on high – and that’s all that matters on this journey – that you allow yourself to be inspired, shifted, moved, lifted, catapulted out of your old condition into a new condition.
Something really spectacular occurs when you make a decision to move into a new space: to be willing to physically and literally be brand new. To move from being an passive observer to an active participant.
To move from wishing/hoping/praying/waiting for something to happen … to move into a space where you begin to will things to happen.
To move into a space of CREATION with YOU as the creator.
So that’s what I’d like to offer you: an activation where you see that A Course in Miracles is 100% true – a condition where there is only love and constant joy.
I’d like for you to see all your problems disappear, one by one, instantly and immediately. If you are doing what Jesus is asking of you, you literally will not have a single problem.

The miracle is that you begin to see signs of life.
I can be free from suffering today.
I posted this lesson from my cell phone yesterday – I was on the road traveling from Philadelphia – but apparently the post did not show up.
Rather than me trying to remember and retype all that I posted yesterday, I will just ask you a simple question:
Are you free from suffering?
I will receive whatever I request.
Everyone will receive what he requests. No one desires pain. But he can think that pain is pleasure. No one would avoid his happiness. But he can think that joy is painful, threatening and dangerous.
Everyone will receive what he requests.
What are you requesting??
Look out in front of you and whatever your eyes are showing you is what you asked for. Whatever your situation looks like right this minute, you asked for it and received it as you asked.
Look at it. Look at your life.
What do you see?
Do you like what you see?
If not, then thankfully there is a quick solution. Change your mind.
There is a world where there is only love, and it is going on simultaneously to the world of pain, sickness and death.
Which world do you live in?
Gorgeous for God is nothing more than a constant reminder of what A Course in Miracles offers: joy all the time. God’s Will for you is constant happiness. If you are not experiencing consistent happiness, then you must be following a different will.
If you need help, I can help you.
The truth of Jesus’ message will help you align your mind with God, and in the space where God is … there are no problems.
When you are with God, you are not in this world at all. The world disappears and you are back home in Heaven and there is only love.
If you are afraid, you are in time & space, and you have forgotten the truth.
You can leave this world entirely.

Let us resolve today to ask for what we really want, and only this, that we may spend this day in FEARLESSNESS, without confusing pain with joy, or fear with love.
Father, this is Your day.
FATHER, THIS IS YOUR DAY.
It is a day in which I would do nothing by myself, but hear your Voice in everything I do; requesting only what you offer me, accepting only Thoughts you share with me.

I am affected only by my thoughts.
In this single thought, I am released from fear … and everyone else is released from fear as well.
“Now he learned that no one can frighten him, and nothing can endanger him. He has no enemies, he is safe from all external things.”
Think about what a spectacular gift this is! Only your thoughts can frighten you! And since your thoughts belong to you alone you have the power to change them and exchange each fear thought for a happy thought of love.
God’s Plan is sure.
There is a guaranteed way out of hell forever. You can leave this world of suffering, sickness, fear and pain … and you can do it without dying.
Right at this moment is a world where there is only love, and it is awaiting you. The doors are open. You can walk right out of this world into a world of constant joy and peace.
There are 3 actions that will catapult you.
My sinlessness protects me from all harm.
My sinlessness ensures me perfect peace, eternal safety, everlasting love, freedom forever from all thought of loss; complete deliverance from suffering. And only happiness can be my state, for only happiness is given to me.
Wow.
This is amazing stuff.
What must I do to know all this is mine??
Accept Atonement for myself … and nothing more. God has already done all things that need be done. And I must learn I need do nothing of myself, for I need but accept my Self, my sinlessness, created for me, now already mine, to feel God’s Love protecting me from harm, to understand my Father loves His Son; to know I am the Son my Father loves.
When you accept the Atonement for yourself, then the above statement will be true for you. This is no fantasy, and no wild wish.
This is a promise from God.
perfect peace, eternal safety, everlasting love, freedom forever from all thought of loss; complete deliverance from suffering. And only happiness, for only happiness is given to you.
You find yourself in a state where there are no problems, and all your prayers are answered.
You find that the life you once hated – yours – is now a life that you love. You cannot believe how lucky you are to be you. It’s quite an accomplishment when you go from hating yourself to loving yourself.

You will never have another problem ever again. The way is open now. Peace of mind is restored because forgiveness wipes away all dreams of separation and sin.
God’s Word remains unchanged within my mind and His Love is still abiding in my heart.
