Happy New Year!

It feels like any other day of the year to me. It says in the Yahoo news today that Americans are filled with optimism and hope for 2009. If it’s possible for an individual to have a FEELING OF OPTIMISM AND HOPE on the 1st of the year, then that feeling is contained in that individual always!

It is possible to stay in that spot! And to never leave! To feel full of hope and optimism – to stay above the battleground – every single day of the year, every moment of the year, to be happy always, to witness miracles in every situation.

This is the back cover of my book Gorgeous for God. Staying in the high frequency (God-consciousness) where there are no problems and only love exists.

It’s an amazingly practical simple idea. If you can feel optimistic and hopeful today for a brighter future, then its possible for you to stay in that feeling always, starting right now.

But as we know, no one’s been able to do it. 95% of resolutions fail. The road to hell is paved with resolutions and good intentions. Every one drops back down to doubt and depression. How do you keep the momentum? How do you decide to do something on January 1st that you will stick with through 365 days? And further, through all the days of your life?

Like, take the workbook lessons of A Course in Miracles for example.

If you would like to make a commitment to complete the workbook in one year, how do you do it without missing a single day?

One day at time and through constant reminders of your goal.

Most people’s problems are that they aim too low, setting small goals. Why not decide to do something BIG this year. I mean, really really big. When you set attainable goals, you are destined to fail. Yes, you read that right. When you set attainable goals, you are destined to fail. But when you set a goal that is so far beyond anything you can conceive of, and that is outside your comfort zone, and that seems impossible to achieve, you are destined to succeed.

I have been aiming too low, I can see that clearly now. I have wanted 100% God Consciousness all my life, as far back as I can remember…even as a little child. I remember seeing “The Greatest Story Ever Told” and thinking, I want to be with Jesus! I even had a playmate who was very ill and saw Jesus standing at the end of her bed. I wanted that soooooooo badly! I am ready to walk on water,

    Love,

Hi Lisa. It is so wonderful to start the New Year. And something that has been going out in my emails is I want to have a “NEW” New Year. and that would be accomplished just as you write in your post today…

If I choose a goal that is beyond what I can do in the world I will succeed. It will be accomplished in God.

This is amazing that you write this because I was writing this for a week now in Holidays and did not know what it really meant. And now I do!

    Thankyou.

I know I didn’t want and don’t want the “same old, same old”. I want everything The Course offers. Wholeness. The road out of complete and total insanity. And it is Total alright!!!!!!!!and now I am laughing because to see that written here makes me so happy…

To see my thoughts, All my thoughts were completely over – the – top totally insane has made me very happy… And I have not tried to fix it. It isn’t worth fixing.

    I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be standining in the Heart and Mind of God ….Heaven would be a worthy goal for 2009.

    IN CERTAINTY.

    YEP… that will do nicely.

    Thank you , Lisa.

And Happy New New Year to you…

    love,
    gem
