Two review lessons:
The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness
Let me not forget my function.
Here’s the thing: you are awake.
Let me repeat that. You are awake. So why do you keep falling back asleep in fear? That’s the big question. The practice is NOT “how to wake up” (because you are already awake) but how to “consistently remember” that you are awake, to remember your Identity in God.
Consistency. Constancy.
Which is today’s lesson: Let me not forget my function.
It takes practice to stay in the high frequencies where there is only love. It takes determination and dedication to stay in Heaven without slipping back into hell. You will keep sliding back down into problems and doubt … until there comes a moment when you realize THAT’S WHAT YOU’RE DOING and then you’ll stop it.
Anger = sleeping
Doubt = sleeping
Fear = sleeping
Problems = sleeping
As soon as you see that you have a choice (between Heaven and hell, love and fear) you will automatically remember that there is ALWAYS another way of looking at things. You will choose for the light. You will snap out of it. It literally is like being jolted awake. You come to your senses.
Have you ever had an experience where you keep dozing off in the middle of the day? You try to stay awake, you’re sitting at your desk at the office or at the dinner table with your family, and you keep falling asleep, your eyes shut, your head falls down, and then you snap awake realizing you shouldn’t be dozing at your desk or at the dinner table with mashed potatoes in your mouth. Have you ever had this happen? And everyone is looking at you kinda funny, with compassion that you can’t stay awake.
Mostly they are laughing at you. Have you ever had this happen?
Well, this is exactly what it is like when you are in anger, depression, loneliness, sadness and beset with problems. You dozed off. You fell asleep at the dinner table. You were awake and then your eyes shut, your head fell down, and you start snoring. Except this is just an analogy. What sleeping looks like is uncertainty, fear, jealousy, and grievances.

Sound asleep.
And everyone who’s awake is laughing at you. They don’t take your problems seriously, because to them it simply looks like you fell asleep at the dinner table with mashed potatoes in your mouth. It’s funny! It’s not serious, it’s hilarious.
If you keep dozing off, it would be a good time to ask yourself WHY.
You might want to take an honest look at that. Why do you keep slipping back down into routines and habits and problems? Why can’t you stay awake?
It’s good to ask yourself these questions if you find yourself flip-flopping back and forth between joy and depression, certainty and uncertainty, strength and weakness.
You are all light. You are the light of the world. Forgiveness is your function as the light of the world.
Let me not forget my function.

When I first read this I felt scolded. But then I realized that I was asleep!!!!!!! When I did today’s lesson…..forgiveness was in my heart. It was such a peaceful, happy feeling. Today I am feeling happy!!! I am moving on in my journey with Jesus. Sounds like a good book title, huh?
