I dream of a forgiven world in which every hand is joined in love.

I heard this song the other day, and it completely took my breath away. Immortality. By the Bee Gees. It sent chills through my spine. It continues to send chills through my spine every time i sing it (which is pretty much always now, because those chills feels like energy fields being straightened out, and I love it!)

This song sums up for me how I feel following Jesus.

It’s my happiest accomplishment!
It is the highest privilege to be dedicated to God and to all of mankind and all my brothers. Thank you Father!

I imagine it’s how Jesus must have felt telling Mary Magdalena he couldn’t be with her even though he really loved her, because he had a role in salvation to play.

You are required to choose a whole new way of living.

Yes, this is a lonely path. Yes. I know. It’s really lonely. But there is where we can be comforted to know the magnitude of what we are doing, for the love of God and all our brothers.

Jesus in A Course in Miracles says he dreams of a forgiven world. I love that. he doesn’t just say the world is a dream and leave it at that. He says he HAS a dream, and we are here to help him fulfill it. He says “there is work to do.”

He says we are the Saviors of the world and he needs us to usher in a forgiven world.

But in order to do this, really follow Jesus and his uncompromising instruction, we have to drop our fishing nets, and walk away from the world we made. “But we don’t say goodbye” as this song reminds us. Everything comes with us, being our own reflection. We walk away from our dream reflections, people, relationships, situations, problems and we walk towards God, and everything must and will follow.
