Constant joy is your natural state.

Lesson 337 from A Course in Miracles says some pretty mind-blowing things:

My sinlessness protects me from all harm.

My sinlessness ensures me perfect peace, eternal safety, everlasting love, freedom forever from all thought of loss; complete deliverance from suffering. And only happiness can be my state, for only happiness is given to me.

Wow.

This is amazing stuff.

ONLY HAPPINESS CAN BE MY STATE, FOR ONLY HAPPINESS IS GIVEN TO ME.

Thank you Father. Thank you Jesus.

You want to know what total freedom is? In the recognition that you are responsible ONLY for your own happiness. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE ONLY FOR YOUR OWN HAPPINESS. You’re not responsible for someone else’s happiness. Everyone else can take care of themselves. Don’t worry about making anyone else happy.

You take care of yourself.

And also … stop waiting for other people to make you happy. Stop depending on other people. Just stop it. No one else is responsible for your happiness. Only you.

Total God Dependency.

You hold the key. Allow yourself to be totally selfish and let your own joy and happiness be all that there is. You are sinless and innocent. That’s true responsibility. Be only concerned with your own alignment with God. Be only concerned with YOU remembering the truth and forget about people. That’s what the Atonement is. In that acceptance, everything & everyone else will fall into alignment with you – with God – in that total joy – because there is nothing outside of you.

How simple.

Accept Atonement … and nothing more. God has already done all things that need be done.

And I must learn I need do nothing of myself, for I need but accept my Self, my sinlessness, created for me, now already mine, to feel God’s Love protecting me from harm, to understand my Father loves His Son; to know I am the Son my Father loves.

When you accept the Atonement for yourself, then the above statement will be true for you. This is no fantasy, and no wild wish.

This is a promise from God.

You find yourself in a state where there are no problems, and all your prayers are answered.

You find that the life you once hated – yours – is now a life that you love. You cannot believe how lucky you are to be you. It’s quite an accomplishment when you go from hating yourself to loving yourself

THIS SHOULD BE WORKING FOR YOU.
